Marbles
Foster in BristolMarbles has been a super lovely cat to foster and we’re pretty sad to let him go! He’s very soft and a sweet loving boy who loves chin and head scratches. He isn’t exactly a cuddly cat however he likes being around people and will most of the time just chill in the same room or sit next to you. He’s not fussy with food but he enjoys drinking water straight from the tap every now and then! He's a quiet lad and was a bit timid when he first arrived - he lived with children previously but they're allergic to him unfortunately. A quieter home with no other pets and children 8ish or over would suit him best. His previous owner mentioned that he would usually go outside the house but he wouldn’t go too far. He also mentioned that he can get pretty territorial if he sees other cats wandering close! He loves lying in the sun so if you have a sunny windowsill or room, he’ll probably spend a lot of time there. He’s not the most playful cat but every now and then he'll have a random burst of energy to keep you on your toes! He's got so much love to give to the right person, they just need to give him time and when he's ready it's so worth the wait. He turned 7 in March, is neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance. Polly and Ollie
Foster in BristolOur wonderful mama, who's been in the wars , is ready for her new home with her little mini-me Polly and Ollie are a beautiful pair of bonded cats whose love and connection are as heartwarming as their personalities are unique. Polly, the mother, is a gentle and affectionate cat with a calm and nurturing spirit. She’s deeply devoted to her son, Ollie, and the two are rarely seen apart. They share a close and affectionate bond that is evident in the way they play, cuddle, and care for each other. Ollie, still in his kitten stage, is full of life. He’s curious, adventurous, and endlessly playful. Whether he’s chasing shadows, exploring new corners, or pouncing on toys, Ollie brings joy and energy to every moment. Despite his high energy, he always returns to Polly for comfort and reassurance, demonstrating their special connection such a mummy's boy!! This sweet duo would thrive in a loving home that can offer Ollie the space and stimulation his curious nature craves and Polly the love and affection she has missed to date, previously being a stray. They are both incredibly sociable and would be happy in a home with children of any age group. Together, they make a truly special pair—full of warmth, affection, and the kind of bond that’s rare and precious. They would love a garden away from busy roads. They are fully vet checked, have been wormed, had flea treatment, are microchipped, have had their first vaccination (second is due on 5th June) and Polly is neutered. You may remember Polly is our girl with the narrowed pelvic canal due to an old, healed fracture. She needed an emergency ceasarean and then a purse string suture repair for a rectal prolapse. She's absolutely fine now but does need to be on Lactulose for life. This is a liquid stool softener, placed on her food, to prevent her from straining. If you’re looking for a pair of cats who will bring both joy and heart to your home, contact us now at [email protected] with your address and contact number :) - New
Mickey and Sammy
Home-from-home adoptionMickey and Sammy are bonded sisters, born in August 2023. They are both cheeky and playful, they love to run around and chase after each other and like toys especially the laser pointer. They will then often snuggle up together and groom each other before they go to sleep. They currently live with 2 other cats and really enjoy their company and try to play with them groom them too! They are quite laid back, but they can take a little while to get to know and trust you but once they do they will ask you for affection and pets all the time. Neither cat is a massive fan of being picked up, but they do love to come and try to sit on laps – they are funny because they will walk all over you before deciding whether to sit down or not, often settling for a good stroke and tickle before lying down on the floor next to you. Both of them will purr loudly when you stroke them and they enjoy attention. They are fond of lying on their backs with their legs in the air. Mickey is the darker tabby. She is friendly and loves to be petted, often demanding you pet her by getting under your feet until you do. She likes to drink from the kitchen tap. Sammy is the lighter cat, she is also very friendly and loves attention on her own terms but is the one that will rub herself all over your lap begging for strokes until she decides to walk off. They can both let you know when they've had enough with a light nip but this is becoming much less frequent. They would love a garden away from busy roads for some exercise as they can't go out at the moment ( on a main road) and the vet says they're a little portly! Neutered, chipped, vaccinated. - New
Reggie and Norman
Foster in BristolReggie and Norman are nearly 4 yrs and are bonded brothers. They're calm, well behaved cats who are shy to begin with and just need some to settle in. Once they do, they're no trouble and a joy to look after, enjoying strokes and a good old fuss. They need a quieter home with no young children or other pets and some time to build their confidence. They love being outdoors so need a garden away from busy roads - Reggie did have an argument with a car and broke his leg, it's all healed beautifully and he's back to bouncing around but he tends to stay closer to home now! They love their food so that's always handy for a bit of bribery Neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance. - New
Gerry, Tilly, Smokey and Kush
Foster in Bristol, ReservedThese 4 beauties are available About 8 months old, they were surrendered as the owner couldn't cope with 6 cats and the prospect of lots of kittens! They've been very loved but had never even been in a cat carrier before so their first couple of days in foster were a bit overwhelming. Gerry tabby kept climbing the walls trying to escape, Smokey stayed in her bed, Tilly hid in the tunnel and big boy Kush with the lion's mane just watched them all indulgently like the miniature Mufasa he is. One week later and they're impossible to photograph as they're all so super friendly and nose boppy! These are gorgeous cats - Gerry purred all the way through his vet appointment and flirted unashamedly. Smokey tries to climb your legs to be picked up and cuddled. Tilly has a curly-furred tummy perfect to blow raspberries on and Kush is just calmly majestic, accepting compliments and strokes as his due. They all get on but none are bonded so can be adopted in any combinations. They'd be fine with older children and are keen to be out so a garden away from busy roads is a must. Had their vet check and first vaccination and all being neutered and chipped this week plus 5 weeks free insurance. Ping us an email to [email protected] with your address and a contact number for this Fabulous Four :) Boo
Foster in Bristol, ReservedSweet Boo is about 10 years old. He’s such a loving, friendly boy who likes nothing more than a chat about the weather. He loves to play with wool and balls, and gets the zoomies at least once a day! A little shy at first, he has done well in foster and is happy to snuggle up or sit on your lap, or higher, if he thinks he’s being ignored. He is a long-haired cat, and is doing well with his brushing, so any new owner will need to be able to commit to regularly grooming him. He visited the vets at Fernlea and they gave him a super lion-cut, so he’s looking well-trimmed and dapper in his tuxedo at the moment. He eats well, is not fussy about his food and a bit partial to a few Dreamies. He had a dental last year, so his teeth are good. Boo has a heart condition and is on daily meds, but is a dream to take them, so it’s no trouble to give them. He came in to foster because his elderly owner was struggling with managing his meds. Boo would love a home with a safe garden, maybe with children over 10 years, and some lovely laps to curl up on, once he knows you. Neutered, chipped, vaccinated, 5 weeks free insurance, BWCR will fund his meds for his lifetime. Don't ghost us - mail us at [email protected] with your address and a contact number, thank you :)Winter
Foster in Bristol, ReservedShe's super friendly and settled into foster immediately. She's great with humans but didn't get on with her feline friend at all so definitely needs to go on her own. She loves running up and down the length of the house, the stairs and even the curtains - she has tons of energy for zoomies! She's then quite chilled for good periods in the afternoons. She is a monkey for finding boxes of food, fishing out a pouch and then opening it herself! Never a dull moment with this cutie. :) She has never been outsude but we think she would love the chance so she needs a safe location away from busy roads or a cat-proofed garden. She's around 4 yrs old, neutered, chipped, vaccinated, had a dental with 5 weeks free insurance. Send us email to [email protected] with your address and a contact number if you feel "Winter is coming" to your crib. Thank you :)Reggie and Kray
Foster in BristolTwo little gangtas. Reggie and Kray are brothers from different litters. Reggie is the ginger and white chonk, aged approximately 18 months, and Kray is the dashing black and white boy who is a year old. They have both recently been to the vets, where Reggie flirted with absolutely everyone as he loves attention. He no longer has his trouble nuggets but he still has the cheekbones that went with them. He will come and put a paw on your lap and then give you a lick or a head butt if that hasn't already persuaded you to give him his much-needed chin rubs. Kray is a little slower to warm up but after a couple of days in foster he was flashing his tummy and asking for head tickles. He spends most of the day on top of the cat tower watching the world go by. They're both currently on dry food as Reggie can get a little competitive about wet food. They grew up around a three year old with special needs but their owner developed an allergy to them so had to find them a new home. They need to stay together and have been indoor cats so far but they'd absolutely love a catio/cat-proof garden for some fresh air and sunbathing :) Neutered, chipped, had first vaccination with 5 weeks free insurance. Send us an email to [email protected] with your address and a contact number if they can crash at your crib.Cookie
Weston Super MareThis handsome lad needs a rural type home for all his shenanigans!! "His name is Cookie and he's a rescue cat from Dubai, he's an Arabian Mau, 2 years old. Cookie is almost the perfect cat, extremely affectionate, loves human company, lap sitting, purrs a lot. He loves playing and chewing toys. He's an amazing hunter too, into everything and always curious. We adopted him 2 years ago from a Dubai cat charity to keep Amber Cat company (she was from BWCR) but she doesn't much like him - she tolerates him! He is a very chatty cat and a bit obsessed with food. We'd like to find a home for him that is better than ours - the reason for this is, he's been attacking the neighbour's cats and there is nothing we can do to stop him, he's not an indoor cat. I think he's now treating the neighbour's cats as prey rather than rivals and it's hugely upsetting and stressful for all of us, especially the cats. The neighbours have been great and not angry, just sad. They even said they will build a 'catio' but this isn't fair or feasible. Cookie needs a loving home where the immediate neighbours don't have cats - although I think he may be less aggressive to new cats. He's vaccinated, chipped, neutered and very bright. We would keep him with us until we find him a home as all cat charities are overloaded, plus he would hate to be locked up." This little monkey currently lives backing onto woods so really wants something similarly safe again plus he does get a bit carried away playing and can nibble you so no young children. Ping us an email to [email protected] for this little Cookie monster :)Bonnie
Foster in BristolHi my name is Bonnie, I had to come into foster at short notice. Sadly both my pawrents have been diagnosed with illnesses which means they wouldn't be able to look after me properly any more." My foster mum says:- Bonnie was very shy when she first came to foster. However, since having gained her trust I can say that she is coming out of her shell and is very affectionate! She loves to bump you with her head for scratches and tickles, and will sometimes sit next to you and purr away! She becomes a little more active in the evening and enjoys being teased with string or even a pencil! I think she would be suited to an individual or couple where she can have a quiet safe space to adjust until she begins to trust. But when she does learn to trust she is the sweetest, prettiest girl with a lovely temperament. I will be sorry to see her go! She's not used to children, dogs or other cats and would like a safe garden for a potter. 12 years old, neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance. Home-from-home adoption, ReservedHerbie is a beautiful and affectionate cat with lovely markings. He loves exploring the outdoors almost as much as he loves tummy rubs or chasing a laser pen. Herbie will be 3 in June, and still plays like a kitten given the chance. He’s a relatively small cat with a loud purr! We have loved having Herbie but we think he would be much happier in a dog-free home, which makes us sad but we have to put his comfort first. At present, Herbie comes home late at night (currently around 10/11pm) and leaves again at dawn - in the winter he does tend to come home a earlier (5-7pm ish) but he definitely enjoys roaming free in the daytime. Herbie would thrive in a household where he gets lots of play and attention! Herbie really is a lovely low-maintenance cat who’d be happy perhaps with older children and other friendly cats. Neutered, chipped with 5 weeks free insurance, Herbie is still with his owner. Herbie The Love Bug is awaiting your call so Go Bananas and mail us at [email protected] with your address and a contact number :)Millie
Foster in Bristol, ReservedSpecial home needed for our shybaby Millie Dear Millie is a bit of a project puss, she's about 16 and was very scared when she first arrived. She'd originally turned up as a stray many years ago and has only known one elderly owner. She is getting bolder by the day, and jumps up on the bed (in 'her' room and mine) every morning/evening now for strokes. She's even getting used to my partner - it's like she's slowly learning how to cat! She's started to play a little when she's in the mood - she will chase/attack little leaves and bits of string and has the occasional mini zoomies. Not bad for a little old lady! She really loves strokes and snuggles too and purrs up a storm but she's always slightly wary and ready to disappear under the bed again. I'm sure that will improve with time though. She's such a lovely sweet natured puss and would love a garden away from busy roads/catio to keep her safe. She did have feline friends previously but tolerated them rather than being besties! Neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance. If you'd like to takeaway Miss Millie please mail us at [email protected] with your address and a contact number, thank you. :)
