Batman and Shadow Chepstow
ChepstowRemember our little family found living rough back in July? Well mama is still very nervy and scared so foster mum is adopting her and 2 of her kittens :) That means the other two lil cuties, Batman and Shadow are looking for a new home About 11 weeks old now, they've taken their time to come out of their shells. Little girlie Shadow is quiet, while Batman is reserved at first but comes alive once he feels safe. They're doing brilliantly for feral kittens and are trying very hard to be brave! They'll need someone to help them continue their journey and, once scaredy kittens trust you, they bond very strongly so it's super rewarding. That first purr is guaranteed to melt your heart! They'll need somewhere they can't hide - they need to be exposed to the comings and goings of daily life and you need to be to reach them for strokes and bum rubs :) They love to play and completely forget they're supposed to be scared so invest in some feathered sticks - their favourite. They’re happy around other cats and fine with well-behaved children and they'd love a garden away from busy roads. Vet checked, chipped, had first vaccination with 5 weeks free insurance. Twice as nice or double the trouble? Who can say but you'll only find out if you mail us at [email protected] with your address and a contact number! - New
Ronnie
Foster in BristolRonnie is 11 years old; a very affectionate distinguished gentleman who loves cuddles and sitting on your lap. He's happy with the sofa though if you're otherwise engaged; he's very easy going and undemanding! He also loves to go out and explore so a garden away from busy roads would be most acceptable. Ronnie isn’t too fussy with food, he will eat wet and dry, usually supermarket brand, he’s never been around children and used to live with another cat so another nice, gentle cat could work. Ronnie is looking for a quiet new forever home as his owner is unable to care for him properly any longer. Neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance. Ronnie does have a mild heart murmur which the vet wasn't concerned about. - New
Birdie
Foster in BristolThis little princess is a 2yr old Persian x Ragdoll and is not quite a lap cat..yet! She will sit next to you or on the bed with you and her current favourite sleeping position is splooting like Superman. She's a little on the timid side though perfectly happy to walk over you to get to her destination and is comfortable meeting new humans on her own terms - did we say she's a princess?! She gets a bit sad if left alone for too long so would love hoomans that work from home if possible, but no other pets please- she tried that once and definitely didn't like it! Birdie would love a garden away from busy roads, windowsills to watch the world go by and a little hidey hole for when she first arrives and is trying to be brave. Neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance. - New
Mabel
Home-from-home adoptionLovely kitten Mabel is 6 months old. She's cuddly and affectionate with people and other pets, and quite quiet, her meow is very little! You can pick her up easily, she loves belly rubs, very trusting of her people, and she loves playing and fuss. She licks you when she'd like a stroke. Her antics really make me laugh! Sadly I live on the intersection of 2 very busy roads and Mabel would desperately love to explore outside further than her small catio can provide. I feel Mabel could really suit both a quieter home and a house with children and other pets (like her house where she was born), but with safe access to a garden would be essential for her wellbeing. She likes dogs so much I would suggest not to attempt a bonding with a dog you are unsure would like a cat! I feel confident she could be introduced successfully to another cat or kitten, if done gently. She is litter trained, fully vaccinated, spayed and microchipped, wormed and flea treated. Her spay was 22nd July, and her vaccination record provided. Her new home will be the first time living without a littermate, so extra cuddles will be needed!! This little sweetie is currently in Coleford - mail us at [email protected] with your address and contact number - you know you want to! :) Smokey
Foster in BristolThis little guy may be the brother of our girlie Amber. They were both found as strays in the same area but were taken in by different people and the connection was only made when Smokey went to the same vet for his vaccination. "Now 16 weeks, he was very timid and scared when we first saw him but as the days went on he warmed to us and became more confident and eventually he let us smooth him. We agreed to look after him whilst we try and find him a new home. Smokey is a sweet and and friendly boy, he would like a family with older children and a garden away from busy roads for when he's a big boy! He's a lovely little kitten, he now loves a cuddle and hasn’t scratched or tried to bite anyone who’s met him. Plus he's perfectly litter trained :)" Had first vaccination, will have second vaccination and chip this week plus 5 weeks free insurance. Email us at [email protected] with your address and a contact number for this gorgeous little void.Meep
Foster in Bristol, ReservedThis is 14 week old girly whirly Meep. She is a chatty, busy little kitten. She entertains herself with her toys and whizzes round the house in-between times. She loves tellybox, we watched athletics together last week and she has tried to help out with knitting (but she is rubbish). Meep would be okay with gentle children and possibly a young, welcoming cat. She will need a quiet location with a safe garden away from busy roads and ideally a cat flap. Although initially shy she is soon on a lap and rubbing around legs! Good with other cats too. Chipped, had first vaccination plus 5 weeks free insurance.Teddy and Mylo
Foster in Bristol, ReservedA calm and affectionate pair looking for their second chance. Teddy 3yo, ginger with beautiful amber eyes and Mylo 4yo black-and-white with dapper whiskers, are two handsome boys quietly gaining confidence after a tough start. They’re not related but have lived together for a while and get along well, so looking for a forever home as a duo. Their original owner gave them up when circumstances made it difficult to care for them, and they’ve been slowly coming out of their shells since being in foster. When they first arrived, they hid away under the sofa — now Teddy happily comes up to demand endless scritches, and is well on his way to becoming a lap cat. Mylo is still a little reserved and prefers watching the world from the stairs, but becoming bolder by the day and has started approaching for strokes too. Mylo enjoys a little evening chatter, while Teddy tends to stay quiet. Their play style is mostly about chasing each other around the house rather than toys — though the laser pointer and feather wand also draws attention. Mylo can be vocal in the evenings, often chatting away as the day winds down; while Teddy’s quieter with a cute trill when he wants attention. They’re both a bit skittish with loud noises or sudden movement, so they’d do best in a calm home with a little patience as they continue to settle. We think with time they’ll be sure to grow in confidence. Affectionate, clean, and no trouble at all. They’ve always been indoor cats, but may enjoy safe outdoor access with catio or protectapet once settled. They'd like a home without other animals or children, they'd prefer a peaceful home without too much hustle and bustle. Neutered, chipped, vaccinated, and come with 5 weeks free insurance. If you think this gentle duo could be your new housemates, drop us an email at [email protected] with your address and a contact number.Amber
Foster in Bristol, ReservedAmber alert ❤️❤️ When they said I was getting a black kitten, I told the kids to pick a good name as it would be here a while. Black kittens are notoriously difficult to rehome. Then she arrived... out the cat basket with her big amber eyes weighing us up and strutting about like she owned the place! Within ten minutes we were all in love! She could stay forever as far as we were concerned. She's kind, purrs like a motorbike, is super confident, plays well on her own or will chase balls you throw for her. She would like to have all the attention and would be happy to be the only pet in any family, including with small children, as she's got good manners. She has super soft fur, which looks striped in some lights, she's a lap warmer and I can't recommend her enough. We've been fostering on and off since 2006 and she's seriously the nicest kitten we've ever had. Amber would love a garden away from busy roads/catio/cat-proofed garden. About 14 weeks, had first vaccination and chip plus 5 weeks free insurance. Ping us an email to [email protected] with your address and a contact number for this precious little gem of a kitten :)Oscar
Foster in Bristol, ReservedOscar our next lovely Charlie Alpha Tango Oscar was originally living in Cornwall with his elderly owner until she sadly passed away. Her grandson took him on and brought him to Bristol, but he lives in a small flat with no garden access and Oscar is desperate to be outside again. He's a charming young fellow, 5 years old and quite chonky! He is super friendly and playful once he gets to know you but he can get a little overexcited when playing and may take a swipe or nibble - he just has a lot of energy to burn and nowhere for it to go at the moment! He's just begun sitting on our laps, but loves to be on the floor near his humans, rolling and showing his soft tummy off :) He's extremely curious about the world outside and is longing to explore so definitely needs a garden away from any busy roads. He'd be happiest in a quieter household as he's not used to children, other cats or dogs. He's such a sweet boy who's a bit discombobulated with all the upheaval he's been through. Neutered, chipped, had first vaccination plus 5 weeks free insurance. Oscar's no grouch so send us an email to [email protected] with your address and a contact number if he's the one for you :)Ada, Beatrice and Prudence
Foster in Bristol, ReservedA tantalisingly, top-notch trifecta of tasty terrificness : Ada, Beatrice & Prudence These 3 girls have been in with us since they were 3 weeks old; they were found in a trailer with no mum around so had to be hand reared. Very sadly their tiny brother, who was much smaller, didn't make it despite extensive vet treatment :( They are now nearly 13 weeks and are ready to find their new home, we want them to stay together as they are very close and do everything as a trio. They're full of beans and love nothing more than bombing around the house and causing chaos until it's time to crash and then they love a lap to curl up on. Ada (ginger girlie) is the least confident so a home with older children would be best and access to a garden away from busy roads is a must. Chipped and vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance, BWCR will cover the cost of their neutering at either the PDSA or Fernlea vets. We know it's a big ask but these gorgeous babies love each other -please send us an email to [email protected] with your address and a contact number if you have room in your heart and your homeCookie
Home-from-home adoptionMeet Cookie – A Wild-at-Heart Companion Looking for His Perfect Match Cookie is a striking 21/2-year-old Arabian Mau with a big personality and a loyal heart. Originally rescued from the streets of Dubai, he’s now looking for a forever home where he can truly be himself — playful, affectionate, and a little bit wild. What Makes Cookie Special: Affectionate & Loyal – Cookie is a real softie with his humans. He loves lap time, purrs like a motor, and will follow you from room to room — and all around the garden — like a little dog (unless he’s napping, eating, or out adventuring). Clever & Playful – When he wants to play, he’ll drag his toys into the room you’re in to get your attention. He’s always thinking, always engaging, and always up for fun. Chatty & Social – Cookie always announces himself with a cheerful meow when he enters a room, just to say hello. He loves being part of the action. Food-Motivated & Bright – He’s got a lot to say, especially around mealtimes, and he’s incredibly sharp. You’ll never be bored with Cookie around. A Bit of Wild Still in Him As an Arabian Mau, Cookie has retained some of his natural instincts. He’s very territorial and has been getting into fights with neighbouring cats. We believe he now sees them more as intruders than rivals, which has been stressful for everyone involved. He’s not suited to indoor-only life, so we’re looking for a rural or semi-rural home with no nearby cats. Cookie also has a wild streak — every now and then, he gets a very specific look on his face, and when he does, he may bite. It’s not out of aggression, but more like a momentary instinct kicking in. The good news is, he snaps out of it quickly, and we’ve learned to spot the signs before it happens. He’s also learned not to do it to us (well, mostly!). His new owner will need patience, awareness, and a good sense of humour — ideally someone with experience of spirited or high-energy cats. Cookie’s Ideal Home: A countryside or rural setting with safe outdoor access No other cats nearby (and ideally no other pets) No young children (due to his tendency to bite when overstimulated) Someone who appreciates a cat with spirit and will give him the time and space he needs Cookie is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and full of love. We’ll continue to care for him until the right home comes along — he deserves a place where he can be his full, fabulous self. If you’re looking for a faithful, fun, and fiercely unique companion, Cookie might just be your perfect matchTrixie
Foster in Bristol, ReservedHer owner took her on from a neighbour and had her for around 9 years until he suddenly had to leave the country recently. Another little puss who didn't have a clue what was happening and took a few weeks to settle. "Hi I’m Trixie, approx 12 years old. My foster mum says I’m sweet but spicy . I was very shy at first and didn’t know how to act so I wasn’t the friendliest cat but over the weeks I have learned to trust and now I love to climb into bed at night and be stroked to sleep with a huge purrrrrr . I love to play chase with my toys and love to chase the laser pen. I don’t much like to be picked up and I’m not a lap cat ..yet, I'm quite an independent girlie in that regard so I would be best suited to a home where I can come and go with no other pets or young children. I really, really don’t like mum's other cats! I would love a garden away from busy roads to explore as mum says I’m very eager to get out into the big outside world again. I have been to the vets and have a clean bill of health apart from being a bit chonky! In time, with trust and love, I will become your best friend and follow you everywhere." Neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance. If you're looking for a plumpcious panther, please mail us at [email protected] with your address and a contact number :)
