    Bourneville

Bournville has been living in a lady's garden since February, matted and hungry; she paper collared him but had no response and then discovered he was chipped. Despite several calls and texts his owners have never responded and it seems he may have been left behind when they moved :( Onwards and upwards Mr B! "Bournville is a handsome fluff monster who loves a cuddle and is quite a chattyman. He's only 3, very playful and was friendly with the lady's own male cat so could potentially live with another cat. He's pretty chilled so children could be ok too and he'd love a garden away from busy roads." Neutered, chipped, had first vaccination plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. • Mickey and Sue

Mickey and Sue - these gorgeous twins need a home together 💜💜
This 3-year-old brother and sister have been a bit of a labour of love after a rough experience before fostering, but now they have come out of their shells they have bags of character!
Mickey originally hid himself in the tiniest spaces to avoid me, but after a few weeks has turned out to be confident, friendly and playful. He likes to leap in the air to catch a feather toy on a string, but once he's used up his energy he'll jump on you for treats and strokes. He wakes me up by pawing my face when he wants breakfast, and makes a funny squeaky noise (maybe he's named after Mickey Mouse?!). Be careful to stop him eating Sue's food too though!
Sue is a feisty little one who took a lot longer to warm up, initially hissing at me from the top of a wardrobe. Her tails wags more than any cat I've ever met. Sue can still be a bit anxious but now gets jealous if Mickey is the centre of attention, and will even bat him out of the way to get some cuddles, head butting your hand until you stroke her. Sue is the smart one, she normally works out where the treats are before her brother.
To prevent them bickering you need to make sure they get equal amounts of head scratches and lots of playtime, so I think they would suit a home with more people who are around enough to entertain them. Mickey can forget not to use his claws sometimes when desperate for treats, so probably not suitable around young children. They've not been outside before, but are definitely interested in the big outdoors and keen to experience it, so a quiet garden well away from busy roads would work well. (And possibly some harness training before they go roaming free!).
I'm really proud of the progress these two have made and I'll miss their mischievous faces a lot when they get adopted.
Neutered,  chipped,  vaccinated plus come with 5 weeks free insurance.
  • Meg & Max

Mum Meg and son Max 💜💜 This pretty pair are more lucky cats rescued from a life on the streets. They are shy but loving, very gentle natured and enjoy a fuss but like to approach you first. They are not overly happy being picked up so will need a patient household to help them progress and so are not suitable for very young children. Max loves his Mum and they are very close with Meg regularly still washing him though she puts him in his place from time to time too - once a mum, always a mum! They would do well settled in one room to begin with and with puppy pads/newspaper around the litter tray - Max had an upset tummy when he first arrived (all sorted now) and he associates the litter tray with discomfort. His once daily poop tends to be just outside the tray now and obviously won't be an issue once they start going outside. They'd love a garden away from busy roads and they're good with other cats. Meg is 3 yrs, Max is 2yrs and they're both neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus come with 5 weeks free insurance. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue?
