Just wanted to write to you to tell you how much I love my new home. Since I arrived here I have not been poorly at all and I am very happy. Mostly I love sitting with my new mum and licking her. I love my bit of felt tied to a bit of elastic.

Mum said it used to be a toy that made a funny noise but when she bought it for me I ripped it up within about 30 seconds so now it is just a bit of fluff – I love it all the same.

I have a smart collar with a disc with my name and phone number on it – it used to have a bell but that drove me mad so mummy took it off. I love going outside although mum does not let me stay out too long on my own.

I escaped about a week ago and had a great time playing under next doors decking – I could hear mum walking around in the pouring rain calling my name for an hour, was a very funny game of hide and seek…her voice got a little frantic at times but I got a great big cuddle when she found me so I enjoyed myself!!

I am not allowed in the bedroom at night but I don’t make a noise which allows mum to get some sleep. I am always waiting outside of the bedroom door in the morning and have found out that if I run very fast I can slide down the landing on the rug…it is great fun…mum does not seem to mind picking the rugs up every day and putting them back where they should be.

My magnetic cat flap arrived today and I am really looking forward to being able to go outside whenever I want. I always wait until I come back into the house to go to the toilet…mum sighs a lot when I do that but does not shout at me.

Just now mum and I are going to have a little sleep on the sofa…she puts her feet up and I stretch out on top of her…it is lovely. Thank you so much for looking after me and finding me a forever home which I love so much.

Will let you know how I get on, would love to see you again if you are ever out this way.

All of my love. Millie
