Caring Hollie (was Titch)

Caring Hollie (was Titch)
7 November 2012 Aime Cox-Tennant

My name is Lily, and my mum and I adopted one of your beautiful kittens about three years ago. Her name is Hollie now, but I’m pretty certain it was Titch before, and I think she came from Abbie’s house.

I realise it’s been three years since we adopted Hollie, but I just had to email you, and say thank you. I was 15 when we got Hollie, and undergoing treatment for a pretty humongous brain tumour, having daily radiotherapy. Hollie was promised to me, if I could be brave through one of my first (and most terrifying) MRI scans after my operation.

I just really wanted to say thank you, for introducing me to my best friend. I think somehow Hollie knew how important she would be to me, and we have become inseparable. She completely pulled me through my recovery, and is the most beautiful, caring cat I’ve ever known (she’s cuddled up next to me eating Dreamies as I type this, haha!).

I’m now completely healthy, and about to turn 18. I’m so happy to be sharing this milestone with Hollie. I honestly don’t think I would have made it this far if it wasn’t for her, and for Bristol and Wales Cat Rescue for matching me with the most perfect ball of fluff.

THANK YOU.

Lily xx
