Jack and Jill

Jack and Jill - ace footballers! 💜💜
Jack and Jill (Jill has more white on her) were born to one of our feral Avonmouth mums but they are super sweet and friendly. Born on the 20th of May they are now 11 weeks old and are typical little bundles of joy, into everything and full of beans.
They have endless energy and love to play football with anything they can find - their dribbling skills are pawsome 😹
They also love to nibble toes and don't sit still so getting good pics isn't easy! They'll need a garden away from busy roads for lots of adventures, are fine with other cats and would be 9k with gentle children.
Vet checked, chipped, had first vaccination plus come with 5 weeks free insurance.

Mimi

This is Mimi! She is a very sweet, chatty tortie who arrived at her foster carers' a bit thin and very anxious having been living alone for a couple of weeks - her mum sadly went into care and Mimi was home alone. Since being in an environment where she can receive lots of physical contact and reassurance on a regular basis, she has come on leaps and bounds. Mimi is not much of a cuddler yet, but given her progress, I'm sure she will be as soon as she feels settled. A significant breakthrough came with the introduction of brushing - Mimi LOVES to be brushed. She will purr, dribble, make biscuits and gaze at you like you are the best human alive. Your arm will get tired before she gets bored and you will be rewarded with the occasional lick and head boop.
Mimi's previous owner was a little overanxious about her health so she is very familiar with the vet and is on special food for some UTI issues. She has shown no signs of a problem since arriving at her foster placement though, so it seems a calm home with no children or other pets obviously suits her best!
She'd like a potter in the garden but we doubt she'd go far as she's 14.
Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

Mama

All da floof! 💜
Mama cat is a gorgeous, gentle Ragdoll cross approx. 8 yrs old. She is a little timid to begin with but once she knows you she's very loving. She sleeps on my bed every night and loves to play on a evening. She's desperate to go outside so needs a garden away from busy roads - her last home had a wood behind so she was in her element! She would prefer a quiet home with no children or other pets.
Neutered ,chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

Obie

Young Obie needs someone experienced to show him the ways of the world 💜
Obie was abandoned and was being looked after by a kind family before coming into foster with us.
He's about 18 minths old and is a big boy! Obie is very affectionate and loves to spend time with his humans, especially when they are trying to work. He is a frequent participant in Team calls. :)
Like a typical stray he has a bit of an obsession with food, however he is getting much better with regular meals and now realises he isn't actually going to starve to death! He hasn't learnt many social niceties unfortunately and can give mixed messages - he can nip sometimes when stressed so he would be best placed in a home with experienced cat owners
and no children or other pets - he is much better now and this habit should disappear. He is smart and playful and likes to spend his evenings between his humans on the couch. He would love a home with access to the outdoors away from busy roads.
Vaccinated, neutered, chipped and comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

Carrot and Pumpkin

,
Two delicious little kittens
"These are two of the most affectionate boys I've ever had the pleasure of fostering! They always like to be in the same room as you, they do everything together including getting up to mischief sometimes. They're very snuggly and love a cuddle in bed in the mornings :) they have encountered dogs and are happy with older more relaxed dogs. They're very well behaved but would be careful with children just because of their sharp claws and their playing sometimes includes having a little nibble.
They're not scared easily and they don't even mind the noise of the hairdryer, but of course they're a bit worried about the hoover! They love playing with toys and can entertain themselves for ours just with a ball or just playfighting each other, and then will come to you for a snuggle when they're tired. They'll need a garden away from busy roads for big boy adventures! "
12 weeks old, vet checked, fully vaccinated and up to date with flea and worming treatments plus come with 5 weeks insurance.
• Mask and Trouble

This is Mask and Trouble, 12 week old brothers who proper love each other and boxes!! They were caught as ferals at 6-7 weeks and Trouble is still a work in progress. Mask purrs the moment that he sees people and will be a lap cat in no time. Trouble likes strokes and tickles and purrs but still finds it a bit overwhelming. They can take their dog crate with them for a couple of weeks whilst they get used to their new home and will need intensive interaction during this time.
They're fine with other cats and will probably benefit from another friendly puss to show them the ropes. No young children and they'd love a garden away from busy roads.
Vet checked, chipped, had first vaccination plus come with 5 weeks free insurance.
• Cosmo and Crumbles

,
Two more of our cute farm kittens are ready to go 💜💜
Black boy Cosmo is playful and friendly loves playing with feathers and toys with bells on, the noisier the better! When he's exhausted himself he will settle in for long cuddles.
His sister Crumbles is shyer but will allow a short cuddle and a stroke, she's also very playful and forgets her fear when she's busy chasing something!
Both eating well (pouches and dry food) and litter trained.
They need a home together with time to settle in, no young chikdren and a garden away from busy roads. They're fine with other cats and another youngish friendly cat would probably help them be brave!
Vet checked, chipped, had 1st vaccination, about 12 weeks old plus come with 5 weeks free insurance.
• Poppy

Poppy is a beautiful long-haired, all-black cat with striking green eyes.
Poppy needs to live with patient people who can give her space and let her get comfortable at her own pace. She would suit living in a quiet, relaxed, child- and pet-free house with access to the outdoors, away from busy roads, and a steady routine.
She spends a lot of time upstairs, either under the bed or sitting at the top of the stairs – sometimes she’ll come halfway down and peek through the bannisters to see what we’re up to. She has this fun little quirk of sitting with her back legs on one stair and standing with her front legs on the one below!
Poppy also spends a lot of time looking out of the window and really really wants to get outside, which she hasn’t been able to do while she’s been fostered – perhaps when she lives with people that can gently introduce her to a safe garden she’ll generally feel more relaxed.
Poppy is a sociable cat, in short bursts and when she feels like it! She likes to be fussed over for a few minutes at a time, until she’s had enough. Every morning after her breakfast she jumps up onto the bed for five minutes of strokes and chats. During the day she’ll pop in to see you every few hours. In the evenings she’ll come down to use the litter tray, have a bite to eat and say hello, before taking herself off to where she feels safest, and every night around 10.30 she pops into the living room for a chat, some Dreamies and a play before bed. Then she flumps down in the doorway, in the room with us, but not close another to touch.
She gets a bit spooked by legs & feet, and loud noises, so she prefers it if you approach her gently and at her level. As she gets comfortable you’ll find she gets more chatty and purry. She is getting more playful as she relaxes and enjoys a bit of play hunting.
6 yrs old, neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.
• Kip

Kip was left behind by his owners many years ago and taken on by a lady, but she now sadly has dementia so he's looking for his third and final home now. He's 8 years old, super friendly and affectionate, absolutely loves a fuss and would be fine with children. He'd like to be an only pet and needs a garden away from busy roads. He has sun damage on his ears so MUST have sun screen applied to stop it progressing to cancer. (He may be deaf on his blue-eyed side but it's hard to tell - he certainly copes fine if he is!). Neutered, chipped, had first vaccination plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? • Pudsey

,
Pudsey the bearcat 💜 We were called by a vets in Newport to help with this stray boy, hit by a car. His ear is fine but no-one knows why it looks like that! Meet the very dapper Pudsey! We think he is 4-5 years old and he came into our care after an RTA which led to the amputation of his right back leg. He has recovered well and is doing brilliantly on the remaining 3 legs – 3 weeks after his amputation he was managing the stairs just fine. He loves to play with a cat nip toy and loves his treats – although as far as he is concerned he never gets as many as he would like. Mean Foster Mummy has tried to tell him he needs to maintain a stable weight so he will be ok on 3 legs but Pudsey doesn’t agree. He can be a bit grumpy, this might improve when he can go outside and feel like he has some independence and he will need a safe garden that is suitable for his needs. He does like a bit of a chat and a fuss although he isn’t crazy about his folded over ear being touched. Whilst not a lap cat he will be happy snoozing on the sofa next to you of an evening – how close he sits depends on whether you give him a bit of your dinner or not! An adult-only home with no other pets would suit him just fine. Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. *** If you're interested please mail us at [email protected] *** Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? • Betsy

,
Beautiful Betsy 💜 Betsy came to us as her owner died, she is approximately 7 years old and unfortunately her owner didn't get her spayed. She was already heavily pregnant yet again when she arrived 😟 She had 4 lovely kittens that have been rehomed and now it's her turn. After having been a kitten-making factory for so long she deserves all the love and spoiling in the world. Betsy is very affectionate and is a real lap cat, whoever adopts her will be very lucky! We think that she will be better in an adult home or older children as she is not used to young children. She does have one quirk and that is she usually greets people she doesn't know with a hiss but once that hiss is out of the way she laps up as much attention as you will give her. That's why the pictures aren't great- she's too buy trying to headbutt us for a fuss! She is very playful maybe having spent so much time playing with her kittens! She'd love a garden away from busy roads and to be a only pet. Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? • Badger

Gorgeous grey gentleman 💜 Badger is an independent boy who loves a good roam in the garden followed by a long sleep on the bed. He is often found sleeping in the sink and isn’t phased by water at all, quite often drinking out of the tap and getting wet in the process. He would love a home with no other pets or children where he can be affectionate on his terms and is allowed his own space. He can be a little anxious at times so will need to learn to trust his new owners and, in return, he will sit next to you on the sofa, or on your lap if he's feeling magnanimous! He loves a head and neck rub but not the belly, never the belly! He'd love a garden away from busy roads as he does like to go exploring. 4 yrs old neutered, chipped , vaccinated plus currently insured which can be transferred or we can offer our 5 weeks free insurance. Badger is still with his owner to save him the stress of a move into foster. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? • Stripey

Any tabby lovers out there? 💜 Stripey is a handsome Tabby Bengal mix, approx 13 years old. He came into foster after his elderly owner went into hospital and has been with us for 6 months now. He was extremely anxious when he first arrived but has now become much more social and confident. He would thrive in a quiet home with perhaps an older person or couple with no children or other pets. He's used to being the centre of someone's world but he's not needy - he's quite happy to entertain himself if you're not home. He's a sweet, gentle, loving boy and adores a chin scritch - his most favourite thing. He's not a lap cat but loves to snuggle next to you on the settee or bed, just make sure you always have one hand free for those chin tickles though! Lastly, he would love a garden away from busy roads as he's used to going out. Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. • Ra

Rural type home needed for Ra 💜 Ra was living on an air base in Saudi Arabia as a feral kitten, unloved and unwanted - that's him in the first pic as a tiny baby. He was going to be put to sleep so a kind couple rescued him - they weren't quite sure what was going to happen but they just knew they couldn't let him die. They paid for his transport to the UK but, as they live on a busy road, they've had to keep him as an indoor cat and he's not at all happy about that. Plus he hates their dogs and their busy household with grandchildren visiting. So we need someone to take up the baton on Ra's journey now - his owners just want him to be happy. He'd love a rural location where he can roam safely as he has no idea about traffic and a quieter adult-only home with no other pets. He does like his home comforts especially snuggling on the settee with his teddy bear! Can we find him his happy ending? 4yrs old, neutered, chipped plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. Currently in Newport with his owners. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? • Daisy

Happy Caturday from Daisy 💜
"Daisy is a 9 year old, white and black moggy. She’s always been very inquisitive and is always the first to the front door when the doorbell goes to see who it is! She is super playful and loves to chase anything that moves - laser pens are her favourite. Daisy loves to sleep on your lap and will happily enjoy a head scratch, but doesn’t like her belly stroked unless she’s by a fire! She loves the garden, but doesn’t tend to wander far and will follow you around if you go out with her.
She’s neutered and fully vaccinated with no medical problems. She eats Purina dry food and absolutely loves her Dreamies as well as the water from a can of tuna!
In the right environment she’s very loving, but unfortunately she hasn’t adapted well to young children. She has lived with other cats before and does tolerate them, but she would be happiest as an only pet (she’s never lived with dogs) in a home without children.
We’re really sad to have to rehome her as she’s been a part of the family since she was a kitten, but we know she’s not happy here around the children. We just want her to have a home she’s happy and comfortable in."
Daisy is in Weston with her owner at the moment to save her the stress of a move into foster (plus we're bursting at the seams!).
• Obi wan

,
Obi Wan is a gorgeous mature boy who unfortunately had to be surrendered due to his parents' relocation abroad. This white pawed tabby has an adorable wonky ear and comes with a built-in disapproving look on his cute face. He is a bit vocal when it comes to food, an intensive purrer when petted and a sweet/discreet alarm clock in the mornings. Obi is not a lap cat but enjoys sitting on the sofa next to you when you watch TV, will chill by your chair if you work from home and sleep under your bed when you are around- of course all doors must be kept open! He is not a massive player but will occasionally attack his favourite catnip-stuffed mouse toy. This boy prefers wet food, but will never turn down small dry treats and crunchies. He would enjoy a garden away from busy roads, to explore when not sleeping and has lived happily with other cats. He would also do well with older children that respect his lifestyle. Obi is about 9 years old, neutered, chipped, vaccinated and has recently had a dental.
• Mickey and Sue

,
This 3-year-old brother and sister had a tough experience before fostering, but now they have come out of their shells they have bags of character and lots of love to give.
Mickey is confident, friendly and playful. He likes to leap in the air to catch a feather toy on a string, but once he's used up his energy he'll jump on you for treats and strokes. He wakes me up by pawing my face when he wants breakfast, and is very vocal if he thinks you need to give him some attention. He likes to lie on my chest and purr in my face.
Sue is sassy with the waggiest tail of any cat I've ever met. She can still be a bit anxious around people but is so loving once she trusts you, head butting your hand until you stroke her and snuggling next to you if shes allowed on the bed. Sue is the smart one, she normally locates the treats I've hidden before her brother.
They get on fine but to prevent their occasional sibling rivalry you need to make sure they get equal amounts of head scratches and lots of playtime, so I think they would suit a home with people who are around to entertain them. Mickey can forget not to use his claws sometimes when desperate for treats, so probably not suitable around young children. They've not been outside before, but are certainly interested in the outdoors, so a quiet garden well away from busy roads would work well.

Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus come with 5 weeks free insurance.
