    Jessie

    More floofy cattitude!
Jessie is beautiful and definitely knows what she does and doesn’t like!
She’s lived with children and could do again but she’s not a cat you can mess around or sling over your shoulder thank you very much – you’ll get told off!
She’s not a lap cat but enjoys a fuss and even having her belly rubbed..for a short while.
We get the impression she’s tolerated, rather than enjoyed, the little humans and consequently keeps her distance a bit. Hopefully that will change in a quieter home as she’s actually really pleased to see you and comes running to greet you.
She does hate other cats though and turns the air blue if she sees one; she’s also desperate to be out in the garden again so needs a safe space away from busy roads.
She is quite vocal so you may wish to put her in the kitchen overnight until she can go out!
She’s a very pretty, sweet little girl who would benefit from owners happy to give her some space and let her do things on her terms to begin with.
2 years old, neutered, chipped, had first vaccination plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

    Chester & Willow

Very friendly and playful 2 year old brother & sister who lived outside for the first part of their lives but have adjusted well to life indoors. Both have lovely natures and are people orientated but are not used to being handled so will take time to settle in a new home. Would not suit very young children as they are still quite shy but are making good progress and enjoy being smoothed.

    Henry

    ,

Henry is the nicest, friendliest, cuddliest cat in the world yet his owners took him to the vet to be put to sleep. Why? Because they allowed him to get to 7.2kg so the poor lad couldn’t fit through the cat flap any more and they wouldn’t give him a litter tray. Thankfully our vets were as disgusted as we were and refused.

And what a gem he is, albeit a rather large one! He’s happy and purry and loves his humans so much – you’ll need a strong lap and he may suffocate you in bed 😂 He loves to chat and will let you know when he wants a fuss; he loves his belly rubbed, in fact, he likes to be rubbed/stroked/scratched just about anywhere.
He’s in good health and just needs to lose some weight – he’s on diet food and is down to 7kg and luckily he’s actually not that interested in his grub; unluckily he’s not that interested in exercise either! He will chase a piece of string for 30 seconds but hopefully, once he can go outside again he’ll burn off a few calories.

Henry would be fine with children but needs to be an only puss and would like a garden away from busy roads.
Aged 13, neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

    Florence

Fancy some floofy tortitude? Then look no further than the beautiful Florence.

Just turned 2 yrs, Flo is actually delightful – affectionate, loving, lively and playful but on her terms …of course!
If she thinks you’ve stroked her a nanosecond too long she will let you know with a lovebite and she doesn’t like being groomed. Little and often is the name of the game theŕe with bribery in the form of Dreamies 🙂

She was given up as she didn’t like the new baby and, unsurprisingly, this little diva doesn’t like other pets either.
So an adult-only home or one with older, bossycat-savvy, children is needed plus a garden away from busy roads as she’s keen to be out and about again. Her divaness may improve once she can expend some energy in the garden!
She really is a lovely puss with ‘character’ 🤣

Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

    Jess

Jess is the other half of a brother/sister combo who was adopted from a lovely lady who couldn’t keep them due to relocation. They had been well looked after and lived together since birth.
Jess is the boss of the two of them despite being significantly smaller in size! She is lovely, loves being stroked and loves being the centre of attention. She is the more adventurous of the 2 and wanders around the house when she isn’t lounging in the sun.
Jess is very much an outdoor cat and needs a garden away from busy roads. She has a lot of energy and needs an outdoor space to get her exercise. She has coped well being indoors for a few weeks and uses a litter tray with no issues.
Jess can be a little feisty if you try to pick her up or hold her down and as such would not be suitable for young children. She can also be a bit of a bully to her brother and doubt she would cope well with other cats. She would be suitable to be adopted separately from her brother if needs required.
Chipped, recently vet checked, partially vaccinated (needs final jabs), flea treated, worm treated.

    George

    ,

George is one of a brother/sister combo who was adopted from a lovely lady who couldn’t keep them due to relocation. They had been well looked after and lived together since birth.
George is a lovely chap with a great temperament. He loves to be stroked and petted and loves his food (as can be seen by his size, he’s enormous!). As he’s getting older he doesn’t play much but loves lounging around in the sun.
George was used to outdoor space and would benefit from a small garden. Having said this he adjusted quickly to living indoors and is fine using a litter tray. Prospective owners may want a small garden as he can meow as he gets used to a new environment and new feeding times.
George is very docile and would be great with kids. To date, we have had no scratches or bites. He is also good with his sister and doesn’t fight but would be suitable to be separated if needs required.
Chipped, recent vet check, partially vaccinated (last set required), flea treated, worm treated.

  • Theo

    ,

Theo is a beautiful miniature panther (or so he believes! ).
He’s 4 yrs old and was being bullied by the other cats in his home so needs to be the only puss now. Theo is super affectionate and loves nuzzling into your neck for a cuddle or sleeping on your lap for hours on end. He’d be fine with older children and he loves the outdoors so needs a garden away from busy roads. He runs to greet you, purring with pleasure and sometimes dribbling with excitement – he’s so happy now he’s on his own and has us all to himself 🙂

Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

  • Harry

    ,

Handsome Harry has been living outside – another boy who has obviously been a pet as he’s super friendly and loves laps and being groomed but was un-neutered and un-chipped 🙁
We think he’s no older than 5 as he doesn’t have the big Tom cat jowls they tend to get when neutered as older adults.
Harry would be fine with children as he’s a cuddlebunny and pretty chilled but he doesn’t like other cats.
He had a mild touch of flu when he arrived – he shook it off and is fine but he may get symptoms when he becomes stressed e.g. moving to a new home!

He’d like a garden away from busy roads and just somewhere to call home again bless him – it’s tough on the streets 🙁

Neutered, chipped, had first vaccination plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

We have 4 beautiful cats, mum 4yrs and her 3 youngsters 2 yrs looking for stables/smallholding/farm-type homes.

  • Nomad

Nomad is ready for his new home.
The stitches are out, the wound is healed, the cone is off – he’s just a bit drafty round the derriere until his fur grows back!

He’s guesstimated at 3 yrs and he’s lived on the streets for a while so he’s getting used to being a pet cat again. He doesn’t ‘do’ toys at the moment but that may come but he loves a fuss and will chat to you especially when he wants his tea!
He uses a litter tray perfectly and is a really easy, undemanding puss.

We’ve spoken to several people and it seems his territory was large – at least four houses have been feeding him and he’s been regularly crossing the superbusy Two Mile Hill Rd.
So..we don’t want his new territory to overlap with his old at all as he’ll just carry on where he left off and he may not be so fortunate in only losing his tail next time.

With this in mind we won’t rehome him within 5 miles of the Kingsway/Two Mile Hill Rd area.
He seems fine with other cats and has been a model patient – no grumpiness even though he was in a lot of pain and very sweet at the vets.
No young children as his rear end will be sensitive for a while and definitely a garden away from busy roads!
Neutered, chipped, had first vaccination plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

  • Coral

Cutesy Coral loves to ‘make biscuits’ and will knead you/her blanket/ thin air in bliss; she also purrs for England and dribbles with ecstasy!
She’s a tortie so it can be on her terms at times..obviously. But she likes to settle on the sofa for film night and sleep on your head!
She’s 12 and can be startled by loud noises and sudden movements so a quieter home would suit her though older children would be fine.
She came in with Dexter but they don’t get on at all well so she wants to be an only puss and would like a garden away from busy roads.

Neutered, chipped, vaccinated, having a dental soon plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

  • Dexter

    ,

Gorgeous Dexter is 15 and just loves his humans, even the little noisy ones!
He greets you at the door when you come in and loves to sit on your lap and snuggle in bed – he even likes having his belly rubbed.
Other hobbies include food and he will guide you to his bowl for second breakfast and second dinner 🤣
He’s also very keen to be outside no needs a garden away from busy roads. He arrived with Coral but they don’t get on well and he’d much prefer to be an only puss to get all the attention and cuddles.
Neutered, chipped, vaccinated, having a dental soon plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

  • Scrumptious

    ,

Scrumptious by name, truly scrumptious by nature 🙂
This gorgeous girl is adorable and so happy to be safe – she loves purring away in her bed for hours rising occasionally for fuss, food and more fuss, such a lovebug!

The vets guesstimate her at 12 yrs and she’s had a dental – her pre-op bloods showed very mild renal failure so she’s on a renal diet now and should go on for many more years as it was, luckily,  caught so early. BWCR will fund her annual renal blood checks at one of our vets if necessary.
She’d like to be an only spoiled puss and would be happy indoors or with a potter in a garden away from busy roads – she’s not bothered either way, being a stray was tough and she likes her home comforts now!
Presumed neutered as no sign of recent kittens plus she’s an older girl, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

  • Susie

How do you solve a problem like Susie?

Susie is a 5 year old super floof who is pretty, funny and can be very sweet. She loves to ride on your shoulder or drink from your glass and she will often trot round after her foster mum at the weekends overseeing her doing chores – she especially loves to “help” foster mum make the bed. On the flip side of this, Susie has attachment and jealousy issues and can be grumpy when she doesn’t get her own way – she will growl at the cat flap until you open the back door for her for example. She has been rehomed with a couple as an only cat but had to be returned as she lashed out a few times but she was ok when only one of them was around. She has settled back into foster just fine and is living with foster mum and her 4 friendly boy cats. She will have the odd hiss at the other cats (especially the kittens as they dart passed her playing games) but other times she will kiss them – she’s a real diva!! Issues aside, she is fairly easy to look after, eating mainly cat biscuits with the odd small meal of wet food, she uses the litter tray fine and loves a box to sleep in – and if it’s a bit too small for her or has the ironing in it, even better.

Because of her past behaviour, we are looking for someone who is very cat confident and who can give her routine and discipline. She is probably best with one human but she could be rehomed with other cats provided they are easy going and there is room for them to all have their own space. She does like to go outside but doesn’t go far and will repel all feline intruders from ‘her’ garden 😂

If you are interested in meeting Susie, please contact us. She is neutered, chipped and up to date with her vaccinations.

  • Arlo & Gus

    Cat name: Arlo & Gus

    Cat age: 2 (Arlo) & 1 (Gus)

    Cat colour: Tabby/white & black/white

    Cat breed: DSH

    Location: Bristol

Good with children? Older children only (10+)

    Good with cats? No

    Good with dogs? No

    Need outside space? Yes

    Chipped? Yes

    Vaccination status: None

    Neutered? Yes

    The biography:

Neutered and chipped 2 year old father Arlo (tabby & white) & 1 year old son Gus (black & white). Arlo is confident and loves fuss while Gus is quite shy but making good progress. Both have lovely natures but would not suit young children as Arlo especially is excitable and likes to nip occasionally. They love their food but are greedy at the moment so mealtimes and food availability need to be carefully managed but both are making progress. They have lived with another cat but are best as a pair on their own.

  • Spongey

    ,

Spongey is one of the funniest fosters I’ve looked after.

She can be super affectionate, she meyowls at the door to greet me when I come home from work. She jumps on me at night and cuddles in. She Sometimes wonders about with a toy mouse at about 6 in the morning, yowling her head off only to come visit me in bed, if i call her to find out what the meyowls are about, and then gives me the toy mouse as a present.

She likes to be near too and follows me about the house telling me off or all about what’s been happening.

She has the sweetest chirrup when I fuss her..

Ideally would like her to have a home where someone is about, she doesn’t like other cats but does like people.

She can get exacerbated with too much fuss, but has been a lot better the longer she’s been with me and now the cat buddy she came in with has gone. They didn’t like each other at all.

  • Tikka

    ,

Tikka is the sister of handsome Jasper. She is an absolute sweetheart who takes a while to warm to strangers, but once you earn her trust you’ve got a sleeping buddy for life. Like Jasper, she absolutely loves her food and is extremely affectionate, forever demanding pats and head scratches.

She’s healthy, with the smallest heart murmur detected, vet has stated it’s nothing to be concerned about, it’s not effecting her in any way.

Whilst they generally ignore each other, best to be rehomed with Jasper.
