    Michael

Michael is a bit of a bruiser 😬 This huge hunk of ginger awesomeness doesn't do sharing and will run any competition out of town - no-one is allowed on his turf! Which is a bit of a problem as there are lots of cats where he lives so he always getting into fights. He's a lovely, affectionate boy with his humans though :) Michael is 10 yrs old and looking for a new home without too many other felines around, no young children and a garden away from busy roads. Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.
  • Scampi

    ,
Scampi came in to foster when his mum was moving to residential accommodation where she couldn't take him. Scampi is a cat who has been used to living in a flat with access to the outside. He is 13 yrs old a lovely friendly boy. He is microchipped, neutered and fully up to date with his vaccinations flea and worm treatment. Although always having been a single cat he doesnt seem to mind his foster mum's furry family. He's not got a mean bone in his body. He's also a chatty cat, loves his food. He would like a garden in a safe location he can explore on sunny days with the option of a lap or a sofa when hes indoors. He has always been used to being in at night. • Hamish

    ,
Hamish is a big boy at over 5 kilograms and there for a joy to pick up & cuddle. He does love his food! Hamish lived next door but spent months being beaten up as a kitten by my mature female until he got bigger than her! Now he is just about tolerated by Cocoa. Hamish is also a tease, enjoying baiting my other blind cat into chasing him. Hamish is not a fighting cat. Unfortunately recently a new all black male cat has arrived in our street and is terrorising dear Hammy. Hammy has to be confined to one room all day during bad weather which is making him rather sad. Hammy is dying to be a bigger part of a family. He would love to have the freedom to come in & out from the garden, sleep on your bed against your legs & be played with. Watching & hearing Hamish thump about the house & play in a rather clumsy heavy way is delightful. But don't worry he doesn't break things! • Fred

    ,
This lazy lump is Fred! He was a stray cat, is about 3 years old and has recently rediscovered home comforts after trying to move in with some kind people - unfortunately they already have four cats so he can't stay. They did get him neutered though, for which Fred is very grateful 🤣. He's a gentle giant, weighing 6.5kg (which the vet says is perfectly fine, he's just a big boy having been neutered later in life). He loves attention and asks for it regularly and all he really wants in life are cuddles and someone to play with. He's fine around other cats but we don't know how he is with children or dogs. He does enjoy his food and eats a lot of it, especially when your back is turned! Fred needs a garden away from busy roads plus to be homed away from the Weston area as that's where he's been straying. He's neutered and comes with 5 weeks free insurance. BWCR can offer discounted vaccinations and free shipping at one of our vets. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? • Sylvester & Suki

Sylvester and Suki are looking for a quieter home with no young children :) This pretty pair aren't related but were both born on a farm.and came to us as shy little scaredy cats. They've since come on in leaps and bounds and love to play and chase balls and each other! Suki is the more confident but it doesn't take Sylvester long to come round as they both enjoy cuddle time and purr for England. They'll need a little time to settle in a new home and we won't split them as they're so close. They're both 15-16 weeks old, fully vaccinated and fine with other cats. They'll definitely need a garden away from busy roads as they're keen to be out having adventures. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? • Linus & Snoopy

    ,
Linus and Snoopy are little hooligans, 5 months old! Snoopy is initially a bit shy but, once he's settled, these two are completely mad - open a drawer and they're in it, sit down and they're on your shoulders, stand up and Linus will launch himself on your back or up your legs - they're just desperate to be with you. They were hand-reared for a few weeks and absolutely love their humans, but they can be a bit too needy at times especially as those kitten claws really hurt when you're their climbing frame! For that reason they need a home with no young children but they're fine with other cats and probably dogs too as they know no fear. They definitely need a garden in a safe location away from busy roads as they will just run cluelessly in their enthusiasm, completely unaware of any danger. These two are adorable, with boundless energy and they love cuddles and fuss and being involved in everything you do - you will never visit the bathroom alone again 😂😂 Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus come with 5 weeks free insurance. • Daisy and Dom

Very friendly and playful 1 year old sister (black) & brother (ginger) who lived outside for the first part of their lives but have adjusted well to home comforts. Both have lovely natures and are people orientated but are not used to being handled so will take time to settle in a new home. Would not suit very young children as they are still quite shy but are making good progress and enjoy being smoothed. They need a garden away from busy roads.

  • Oreo

    ,
We have another cheeky character in the shape of Oreo! He's a 5-year-old Ragdoll cross, who is extremely friendly and sociable. He loves being around people, playing outside and having lots of cuddles. He's just a big kitten really but he's finding it hard to adapt to the new tiny human as he's so big, bouncy and boisterous and he has swiped her a few times in his enthusiasm. He's so sweet and friendly, older children would be fine and he needs to be an only puss with the usual garden away from busy roads. Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? • Bob

Bob is looking for his furever home again - after busting out the locked cat flap and going AWOL for a week his family have sadly decided he's not the cat for them after all and he's back with us. Beautiful Bob has a bobtail (not sure how he lost his tail!) but he just keeps Bob Bob bobbing along! He really is a lovely character-  in his former life he managed to get himself lost and survived for 4 years on the busy streets of Bedminster by befriending a kind man who began feeding him but was unable to invite him into his home. He absolutely loves a fuss and is desperate for a lap to curl up on - he'll take all the fuss you can give him. He'd prefer to be an only cat though older children would be fine plus he'll need a garden away from busy roads. He's 7 yrs, neutered, chipped, vaccinated, had a dental plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.
  • Eva

Small (2kg) spayed and chipped 11 year old female. Suffers from chronic but not serious health issues and so needs to be an indoor cat. Her health issues are being managed by a visit once every 6 months to a Bristol vet and this cost would continue to be covered. Happy to sleep most of the time but very purry at food time. Does sometimes enjoy laps but mostly happy to be left alone and could live with other cats. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? • Arlo & Gus

Cat name: Arlo & Gus Cat age: 2 (Arlo) & 1 (Gus) Cat colour: Tabby/white & black/white Cat breed: DSH Location: Bristol Good with children? Older children only (10+) Good with cats? No Good with dogs? No Need outside space? Yes Chipped? Yes Vaccination status: None Neutered? Yes The biography: Neutered and chipped 2 year old father Arlo (tabby & white) & 1 year old son Gus (black & white). Arlo is confident and loves fuss while Gus is quite shy but making good progress. Both have lovely natures but would not suit young children as Arlo especially is excitable and likes to nip occasionally. They love their food but are greedy at the moment so mealtimes and food availability need to be carefully managed but both are making progress. They have lived with another cat but are best as a pair on their own. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue?
