Bonnie
Foster in BristolHi my name is Bonnie, I had to come into foster at short notice. Sadly both my pawrents have been diagnosed with illnesses which means they wouldn't be able to look after me properly any more." My foster mum says:- Bonnie was very shy when she first came to foster. However, since having gained her trust I can say that she is coming out of her shell and is very affectionate! She loves to bump you with her head for scratches and tickles, and will sometimes sit next to you and purr away! She becomes a little more active in the evening and enjoys being teased with string or even a pencil! I think she would be suited to an individual or couple where she can have a quiet safe space to adjust until she begins to trust. But when she does learn to trust she is the sweetest, prettiest girl with a lovely temperament. I will be sorry to see her go! She's not used to children, dogs or other cats and would like a safe garden for a potter. 12 years old, neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance. Gabbana
Foster in BristolIndoor home needed Gabbana is a sweet older gent of 10 years who loves nothing more than a cozy bed or a lap to sleep on. Equally, he likes to hide away somewhere nice and quiet to snooze the day away. He is a very vocal chap and loves a head boop and affection from his human friend! Gabbana needs a quiet home with no other pets - after he'd arrived in foster we noticed he had limited sight. The vets can find no reason for it and we couldn't get any information from his previous owner but he copes very well, not too much bumping into things! It will take a whike for Gabanna to settle in and map his way around his new home but once he does it doesn’t stop him and you won’t regret giving this sweet chap a loving home and a second chance! He's had a dental and his routine bloods showed he's in very early renal failure so a renal diet will be beneficial and BWCR can help with the cost of that. Neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance. We don't have the Dolce but this posh puss is awaiting your email to [email protected] :) Bella and Daisy
Foster in BristolMeet Daisy and Bella - two sweet, charismatic, and beautiful girls looking for their forever home. The gorgeous Daisy is a 4-year-old domestic long-hair who LOVES to play, but also enjoys cuddling next to you on the sofa. In her previous home, Daisy enjoyed exploring the great outdoors in her rural garden by day, then chasing a wand/laser pointer and taking a snooze in the evening. Bella, a charming 15-year-old tortie, is a little less playful but is still very agile in her mature years. She spends much of her days napping in the nearest sunny spot, but occasionally zoomies around the house or chases fluffy toys. Both Daisy and Bella are FULL of personality. They are used to being handled, enjoy a cuddle on their own terms, and will be your best friends in exchange for a treat. These two ladies came to us after their owner sadly passed away and were very much loved. Despite being a former rescue, Bella took to her foster home straight away, and though Daisy was a little less confident to start, she has adapted very quickly and has proven to be a friendly, loving girl. Their previous home was in a rural location with a large garden and no roads, so neither Daisy nor Bella has any road sense. It's therefore essential that they be rehomed well away from main roads and traffic. Bella has been found to be in very mild renal failure but should have many more years on a renal diet (BWCR can help with the cost) as it's been diagnosed so early. Neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 years free insurance. Please mail us at [email protected] with your address and a contact number for our odd couple :)Millie
Foster in BristolSpecial home needed for our shybaby Millie Dear Millie is a bit of a project puss, she's about 16 and was very scared when she first arrived. She'd originally turned up as a stray many years ago and has only known one elderly owner. She is getting bolder by the day, and jumps up on the bed (in 'her' room and mine) every morning/evening now for strokes. She's even getting used to my partner - it's like she's slowly learning how to cat! She's started to play a little when she's in the mood - she will chase/attack little leaves and bits of string and has the occasional mini zoomies. Not bad for a little old lady! She really loves strokes and snuggles too and purrs up a storm but she's always slightly wary and ready to disappear under the bed again. I'm sure that will improve with time though. She's such a lovely sweet natured puss and would love a garden away from busy roads/catio to keep her safe. She did have feline friends previously but tolerated them rather than being besties! Neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance. If you'd like to takeaway Miss Millie please mail us at [email protected] with your address and a contact number, thank you. :)Bastet and Akhenaten
Foster in BristolOur half Siamese, Egyptian-named beauties need a home together. Bastet (Grey and White) and Akhenaten (Grey) could not be sweeter companions. Beautiful Bast will follow you and around and loves to sit on or near you at all times, chatting happily as she does. Although 14 she is still playful, although a relatively unsuccessful hunter despite her interest in watching birds (she loves watching nature documentaries and magpies on cat TV!) Regal brother, Akhenaten, started off a little shyer than his confident sister, but was out looking for head rubs and human assurance within a couple of days. He is a gentle giant who will play a little fetch with you, but mainly likes to find a snuggly spot nearby to snooze away the day. Unless treats are involved of course, then it’s all systems go! Both cats love a fuss and human company, so ideally would like people that will be around the house a lot (work from home-ers, retirees etc) who they can chat to and hang out with. They have had problems in the past with being attacked by neighbourhood cats and dogs so must be homed as indoors or with access to a catio as they've been a bit traumatised by outdoors. Vaccinated, chipped and neutered with 5 weeks free insurance. Akhenaton has very minimal arthritis in a hind leg and will probably need a dental within the next 2 years (as per vet check). As these issues are not insurable, BWCR will cover their cost at Fernlea vets if treatment becomes necessary in the future. Send us an email to [email protected] with your address and a contact number for these Siamese if you please :)
