    Midnight

We seem to be having a run of black cats but hey, we like a challenge 💪. Simba, Shadow 1 and Shadow 2 all left the building this week, so please welcome Midnight 💜
He has a sad story- an owner severely neglecting himself and having to be moved to temporary accommodation by his safeguarding team, Midnight was pretty much left in one room to amuse himself.
That must have been hard because this boy just loves attention, so much so that this is the only usable photo - the others are all big black nose boops!!
He's such a little sweetie, he purrs instantly, comes running for a fuss, loves all the scritches and scratches he can get.
He can be startled by sudden movements and noises, the rustling of a food bag behind him will panic him momentarily but that will stop over time.
He shares with two oldies and ignores them so could be fine with another nice cat but we think a quieter home with no young children whilst he gets back on his paws.
He's about two yrs and would love a garden away from busy roads.
Had the snip, chip and first jab (having to be creative rather than unprofessional here because of FB algorithms!) and comes with the usual 5 weeks free insurance.

    Claude

"Claude is a gentle and affectionate boy who loves strokes and to be groomed (which is lucky as he needs a helping hand with all his floof!) He takes a little while to settle in, and needs a quiet hiding place to retreat to, but once he feels safe he enjoys company and will start to greet you in the mornings and when you get home. He has a small meow that doesn't seem fitting for a cat of such stature, and a lovely rumbling purr which starts up whenever you speak to him, and he reaches his paw out to let you know when he needs more attention. Although he has a shy nature, he hasn't been phased by visitors, but would likely prefer a mellow household with older children only and no other pets.
He is honestly such a gorgeous cat, I totally fell in love instantly!"
This 6kg handsome hunk of solid muscle needs a larger open top carrier to adequately contain his floofy gloriousness and he'd love a garden away from busy roads.
The vets guestimate him at 3 yrs, he has had his trouble nuggets removed, his chip implanted, first jab and will be having a few matts removed at his second jab next week.

    Patch

It truly is a happy day as he was actually booked in for euthanasia as he wasn't getting along with the other cats in the house - seems his life was as disposable as a washing machine :(
Another rescue refused to take him stating they're only taking in kittens as "no-one wants to adopt adults." Not true - we've rehomed 21 adults already this month. Thankfully the euthanasia was booked at the PDSA where one of our volunteers works and Patch came to us.
"Meet Patch, our gentle soul who will naturally bring warmth and joy into your home! This handsome 7-year-old long-haired cat is as charming as he is affectionate. With his stunning white fur adorned with elegant black spots, Patch is a true beauty inside and out.
Patch's calm demeanour and love for attention make him the ideal companion for those seeking a furry friend to share quiet moments with. He adores being pampered and cuddled, and his gentle purrs will melt your heart in an instant.
A connoisseur of catnip and a dedicated nap enthusiast, Patch knows how to enjoy life's simple pleasures. He would thrive in a tranquil environment, free of other cats, where he can bask in the love and care of a devoted owner."
He'll need a garden away from busy roads and definitely no other pets in the house.
Neutered, chipped, had first vaccination plus comes with 5 weeks of free insurance.
  • Smokey

    ,
Our little stray puss, found by a kind elderly couple, has never been claimed so she's now looking for a new home 💜
Smokey was very scared when she first came in to foster, but over time, she has become so much braver. She now loves being around people and will happily come and say hello to my friends :)
She's a sweet little girl who is very affectionate and loves a cuddle (but does not like to be picked up). She'll happily curl up on your lap and loves to be stroked. She is very happy to play with her cat toys and especially likes chasing the feather on a string
She is very patient and will quietly sit and wait for me, in the mornings, to wake up for her breakfast.
Smokey would like a garden away from busy roads, without other pets. We don't know what she'd be like with children but she may prefer the quiet life.
Guestimated at 8 yrs, neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.
  • Stevie and Poubelle

    ,
Two very lovely older ladies who have been living rough for quite a while - more cats let down by their owners :(
Stevie (tortie) and Poubelle (grey) are around 12 years old. They are a very sweet bonded pair who love each other’s company. After being left outside when their owners moved away they are enjoying the comforts of being indoors with their fosterers, after a few weeks of being quite shy.
Stevie is very friendly and loves to accept a fuss, climbing all over you to get the best chin scratches. Poubelle is less of a lap cat but also loves a chin scratch, and she enjoys playing with a feathery fishing rod toy. Poubelle loves her food and especially loves drinking water - this has been checked out by the vets and she has a clean bill of health so nothing to be concerned about.
They would love a garden away from busy roads and would be fine with older children but not other pets.
Most of all they want someone who loves and cherishes them this time round.
Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus come with 5 weeks free insurance.
