Reggie
Foster in Bristol, ReservedAnother little puss let down by his humans. - when their tenancy ended and they moved out, they just left Reggie behind to fend for himself. :(Fortunately, a kind group of neighbours made sure he was fed and sheltered, but as it grew colder, he came into foster in October ’24.He is a delightful boy and quite a character. He is 5-6 years old and full of energy. He slept like a baby for a good few days, then quietly came out of his shell. He was neutered and had a dental while in foster, with 4 teeth being removed, but he coped admirably. He has a great appetite and is a big cat, although his weight is in the healthy range for a big boy. He’s clearly been in a few scrapes in his previous life, so his ears are a little tatty.Reggie would be a great little friend and shadow. He loves to sit alongside you and snuggle up at night. He loves his zoomies, especially chasing his ball. He wants to be friends with our older cat but can be a bit dominant. He likes to be petted but will give a small nip when he’s had enough, not so bad now he has fewer teeth 🤣 We’d suggest that he should therefore go to a home where any children are over 10 yrs old, so they understand to be gentle with him. He'd love a garden away from busy roads/catio to keep him safe.Neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance.Ping us an email to [email protected] with your address and a contact number if this cute little smudgy face has melted your heart ❤️ Suki
Foster in Bristol, ReservedAnother tortie and yet another unchipped stray 🖤🧡She turned up in a lady's garden, very shy and scared, and it took a few months to win her trust and, with no success finding her owner, she's now come to us.Suki is a gorgeous girlie looking for her furever home. Between 2-3 years old, whilst not yet a lap cat, she is very friendly and likes head bumps and strokes and will reward with a gentle purr. Shy at first, Suki appears to have a lovely temperament and likes a mix of company and her own space so will suit a home that has space for some quiet time for her (she currently spends a few hours a day under the bed), as well as people around so that she can seek them out when she chooses! After a few weeks with her foster family, she is beginning to play and would very much enjoy a garden away from busy roads/catio to keep her safe. She never fusses for food but does seem to enjoy a fishy treat. We don't know what she's like with other cats unfortunately. We're not sure if she's spayed and the vets won't open her up to check if bits are missing. There are no signs of recent pregnancy/kittens but if she does come into season, BWCR will pay for her to be spayed.Vaccinated and chipped with 5 weeks free insurance.Email us at [email protected] with your address and a contact number if this little wonder of nature - a calm tortie no less! - appeals.Crunchie
Foster in Bristol, ReservedCrunchie was presented at the PDSA for euthanasia due to being "aggressive". She's the second cat from the same home to have this happen so it's obviously the owner at fault, not the cats. (The first cat was saved too!). It's times like this we need an official blacklist 🤬"She settled in quickly and is an absolute delight, not aggressive at all, but definitely not happy to be picked up, this is the only time she really lets her feelings be known. She will give the odd minor nip but I really think this is play rather than aggressive, does not hurt at all and, I'm sure, will stop in time now she knows she's safe and loved. However, just to be on the safe side, I think a home with no young children is probably best, older children great. She is a whopper - 5.6kg!! Huge belly that almost touches the floor, but never begs for food. A little diet and exercise regime wouldn't go amiss! She is super friendly, loves to jump up for treats, loves a head rub and although not a lap cat yet, will lie with my daughter on her bed. I think she loves being around us so ideally not people who are going to be out all day. She is very, very pretty and her photos don't do her justice!"Crunchie would like to be the only pet in her new home with a garden away from busy roads/catio to keep her safe.6 yrs old in March, neutered, chipped, had first vaccination with 5 weeks free insurance. This little confection of sweetness is eagerly your email - [email protected] with your address and a contact number please :)Daisy
Foster in BristolWe have a lovely little old lady looking for somewhere soft to land for her retirement years🖤🤍Daisy was brought into the vets as a stray; she's chipped but her details aren't up to date and her original owner, in Wales, can't have her back. No owner this side of the bridge has shown up sadly. She'll be 17 in March and is looking for a quiet home where she can stretch, relax and sleep. She loves a cuddle and will sit for hours either on your lap or next to you on the sofa. As she is an older lady she has some arthritis in her back legs, for which she has daily Metacam. This means she can be a bit hesitant jumping onto furniture and she has to climb the stairs slowly! She has a loud purr and will give you lots of headbutts, she also enjoys being groomed. Daisy would prefer a home without other cats or children and is perfectly happy indoors. Perhaps someone who is retired or spends a lot of time at home to spoil her lots!Neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance (which our insurers will continue), she has a clean bill of health apart from those lil ole creaky joints - BWCR can help with the cost of Metacam if necessary.Mail us at [email protected] with your address and a contact number if our pretty little flower can crash at your place :)Mischief and Myrtle
Foster in BristolOur final two shop kittens are.....Mischief and Myrtle 🖤🤍"4 months old, they're lovely sisters from a litter of 6 born outside, but in foster since being caught at 5/6 weeks. They are still a bit nervous and just need more time.Mischief is a gentle girl, playful and curious. She will let you smooth her from neck to tail.Myrtle is still more wary, a quiet pretty little girl, she can be smoothed while licking Lick e lix so it won't take her too long to gain in confidence. They need their very own hoomans to bond with now - the shy ones tend to become superattached Velcro kitties! They'll need a quieter home and a garden away from busy roads/catio to keep them safe. An existing friendly puss to take them under their wing would be most acceptable too."Neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance.Calorie-free M and Ms - just what you need after all that Christmas chocolate! Drop us an email to [email protected] with your address and a contact number, thank you :)Milo and Nermal
Foster in Bristol, ReservedOur kittens found living behind a shop are ready for rehoming ❤️ Mum did a great job of feeding her 6 tinies and keeping them safe but they needed trapping and were very scared when they arrived in foster. Mum has found herself a home with her fostermum and her first kittens needing a home are Milo and Nermal. Oh so cute and must stay together, they still need more socialisation - Nermal is still very shy, but is getting better every day, Milo is a little more outgoing. They love to cuddle up together on their radiator bed and really enjoy playing with feather teasers. They love lick e lix treats and it's easy to stroke them then so that's definitely the way to their hearts. They would also benefit from a friendly existing puss to show them the ropes and some patient hoomans who are up for a little challenge. The rewards are huge though - nothing beats that first purr, that first snuggle! They'll need a garden away from busy roads/catio to keep the safe. About 4 months old, neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance. Send us an email to [email protected] with your address and a contact number if loving on two lil cuties could be your New Years Resolution :)Maddie
Foster in BristolWe also have Maddie now ready for her next big adventure She's the mum of Hazel and was very scared when she first arrived but has relaxed considerably and now loves her strokes and a fuss made of her. She'll need a quieter home with people happy to give her time to settle but she absolutely loves to play with toys so that will be the way to her heart! She's only young, about 2 years, so just a big kitten herself now she's not having litter after litter. We're not sure what she's like with other cats so probably best as an only and she deserves to be someone's special Princess now after living on the streets. Neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance. If you're mad for Maddie please drop us a line at [email protected] with your address and a contact number, thank you :)
