    Krispy Kreme

    ,
We were alerted by several people of a stray cat living rough and scavenging amongst the waste bins at a certain doughnut shop, regularly crossing the railway lines and refusing all attempts to make his acquaintance. He'd been there for months and, with no owner coming forward, he was finally trapped at 6am one chilly morning and carted off to our vets for the snip and from there into a cosy fosterhome.
We don't quite know where the rufty tufty tomcat went but he turned into a complete mush overnight ☺
He now wants to be close by for constant cuddles and is certain to let you know if he is not getting enough attention - he is extremely vocal! He has a huge character, is full of energy and would be fine with older children. He is confident and itching to go outside and explore so needs a garden away from busy roads as he is used to wandering where he pleases. We have no idea what he's like with other cats unfortunately.
He's about 4 yrs old, neutered,  chipped,  vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.
  • Shuki

    ,
Stunning Shuki is a little bit of a project cat 💜 We were asked to trap this beautiful girl as she was thought to be feral - turns out she wasn't but just very scared. She's now accepting strokes and a fuss and purrs her head off but isn't yet brave enough to come to you. She needs a quiet home, as an only pet, with someone who can give her time and work with her - she's not at all aggressive and loves her food so can be bribed quite easily! She's been living outside so needs a garden away from busy roads as she's used to having a wander. She's a really sweet little lady who just needs a chance. About 1 yr old, neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? • Tupac

    ,
Here is the glorious Tupac 💜 He’s a 5 year old Persian, whose owners are moving and sadly can’t take him. He’s been a little bit wary which is to be expected but has taken to foster well - he’s not been hiding away at all and has quickly found his favourite spots in the house. He’s not really a lap cat but he enjoys a stroke and will tolerate being picked up, but he’ll let you know when he’s had enough and would probably be better suited to a house without very small children. His owner said he is fine with friendly dogs :) He loves his Dreamies and will give you a happy little purr when the packet comes out. He needs a little bit of help with grooming to keep his magnificent coat looking its best. He’s quite a homebody but is used to going outside and would like a nice safe garden to explore when the weather is nice. Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. • Kitty

    ,
Fourth time lucky for our little panther? 💜 Skitty Kitty is currently in her third home in 14 months :( If you like your cats vocal, independent, but also a bit of a lapcat, she's the one for you. She's a sleek shiny panther who loves to watch the birds through the window (she's been a housecat up to now but would love to go outside and run some of that energy off!), chase balls everywhere and destroy yoga mats. She loves to join you in the bathroom so she can drink from the tap and enjoys her treats. She spends most of her time doing her own thing but will come to you when she's ready for some enthusiastic head boops and chin scratches. It has taken her a good few weeks to come out of hiding and settle in and she needs an understanding adult-only home, without too much excitement going on, so she can feel confident in her surroundings. She needs to be the only pet and would love a garden away from busy roads. Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. • Lucky

    ,
Meet Lucky, the first pedigree American Ringtail we've ever had 💜 This handsome boy, with the quirky tail, is a little mistrustful of humans unfortunately and needs an adult-only home with owners happy to give him some time to settle. He does love affection though, including the occasional belly rub, but he will let you know when he's had enough. We're not sure what's happened in his past but this shy guy is really a big softy who just needs a chance. He wants to be the only pet and would love a garden away from busy roads. To complete his rakish good looks he holds one eye half closed but our vet can find nothing wrong with it! 5yrs old in March, Lucky is neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance
  • Milo

    ,
    Meet Milo 💜
Little Milo is a sweetheart deserving a very special home. He is gentle, playful and mischievous, always purring. He loves to lollop across furniture or share a warm bed with his human friends. You’ll find him purring away by himself on fluffy blankets. He is very energetic and, when he’s playing, he loves to bite everything - including human hands - although he’s gentle he's best with older children only.
He wasn't happy with the other cat in his previous home - he's such a softy, he can get bullied- so he'd like to be the only pet now.
Milo is an incredibly vocal cat and has a wide range of meows. He loves to express himself and will purr along when you sing, though he's not always in tune!
A message from his foster human: “Beautiful Milo deserves a home where someone can spend lots of time playing with him, giving him lots of love and attention. He is a gentle and sociable cat who would love to live with human(s) who respect his boundaries (he will bite your hand gently to let you know he wants space). Anybody would be so lucky to love him, he is a funny little cat with so much energy to bring to any household!”
18 months, neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.
  • Mallory and Mouse

    ,
Mallory and Mouse - two beautiful floofs 💜
These lovely cats were adopted by their fostermum two years ago but they're sadly not coping with the arrival of a new baby.
"When I first picked the cats up from the vets, they were so scared. It took weeks for them to come out from under the sofa. It's been wonderful to see them grow in confidence. The surprise arrival of our baby has been a difficult one. We were hoping to move to a bigger house (we're in a garden flat) in the countryside and the cats would have been so happy. Due to COVID we're no longer able to move and I'm sad for them having to hide from the toddler.
    They'd much prefer a quiet adult-only home.
Of the two, Mouse is the younger one at 3yrs.  He is incredibly affectionate and is a truly loyal cat. It is him I am most worried about rehoming as he is really attached to me. In the garden, he will come running for cuddles when he hears me call his name. It's great hearing him jumping up all the fences to say hello. My partner can call him in but only for dinner! He loves nothing more than being snuggled up getting strokes. He can get a bit dribbly when he's really happy.
Mally is more independent and quieter. She will happily sit at the edge of a room without fuss. When the time is right she will hop onto anyone's lap for a quick stroke and then she'll disappear when it suits her. She is good natured, gentle and I see her as a wise cat. She is a little bit older at 5yrs and is possibly Mouse's mum but we don't know for sure.
They both love to play, chasing a piece of string or cat toy will keep them jumping around for hours. Of the two, Mally is the hunter and is impressive when chasing a cat toy around the house.
They both love being outside and it is very important they have space to roam and a garden away from busy  roads. They've carved out a territory amongst the neighbourhood cats and I am sad to rehome them when they're so settled here. They don't fight with other cats, in fact one cat seems to come to call round for them to play!"
Neutered and chipped plus come with 5 weeks free insurance.
Mally and Mouse are still with their owner to avoid the stress of a move into foster.
  • Archie

    ,
Anyone up for a handsome but neurotic bundle of floof ☺? Meet 13 year old Turkish Van cat, Archie - he is a bit of a sensitive soul, and can’t live with other pets or children. He was adopted 7 years ago from an RSPCA rescue centre, where he couldn’t have another cat in the pen next to him because he attacked them through the perspex, and he is frequently in fights with the local cats and has a tendency to jump on dogs too 😬 He's been a one-person cat, used to a quiet life and needs someone around all day as he suffers from separation anxiety. Feliway helps but it really depends on who you to choose to look after him when you're away and how much he decides he likes that lucky person! When he's stressed he can overgroom and do the occasional dirty protest on the floor but he's fine once his slave returns. He's very vocal and affectionate and likes to wind himself round your legs for attention and is a bit of a "character"! Archie does like to go outside and patrol his territory when the weather is up to his standards so needs a garden away from busy roads and preferably no neighbouring cats he can duff up - at 13 hopefully he'll be too old for such shenanigans soon! Like a lot of longhaired cats he’s a bit prone to hair balls and also suffers with flea allergic dermatitis so needs regular monthly flea treatments. His owner is heartbroken at having to give him up but major life changes mean he can't go with her sadly. Neutered, chipped Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue?
