Inquisitive Thelonious

Inquisitive Thelonious
13 January 2015 Aime Cox-Tennant

Our beautiful boy Thelonious, who passed away gently in January this year. We didn’t have him for as long as we would have wanted, but we are glad to have known him at all.

He went for walkies, splashed around in water, had no sense of balance (but still insisted on sleeping in the most precarious of positions) and was a very messy eater – perhaps not a typical cat.

But he was cuddly, keeping our heads warm at night and laps warm during the day, friendly and inquisitive, insisting on being carried around on our shoulders whatever we were doing, and quite particular about which bit he wanted tickled and when (moving our hands gently with his paw to the spot he wanted scratched).

He was sweet, funny and well-loved.

We miss him terribly, and the loss hurts, but it was worth it.
