Ares and Athena
SlimbridgeSpecial home needed for two littluns who had a rough startThey were both the tiniest of their respective litters and have palled up in foster. Grey Ares started showing signs of single kitten syndrome (bitey and clawy with no littermates to put him straight) and his inexperienced owner didn't know what to do and so held him upside updown by his scruff and blew in his face :(Consequently he is now scared of people. We have left him to himself to get used to people and he will come and snuggle close now and allow us to stroke him if we approach from the side but not in front or overhead. He is still very wary, especially after we had to take him to the vet, but he loves being stroked so think he will be fine in time. He loves to play and enjoys the ball track so that seems to be the way to his heart.Athena was only 400g when we got her with a belly full of worms but after a course of Panacur she started to put on weight and is now a healthy 1.1kg. She is very friendly and loves to snuggle up when she is not racing around and is a good friend to Ares so they must stay together. Both are about 12 weeks now and need a quieter, adult-only home and a garden away from busy roads.Had vet check, first vaccination, chip plus 5 weeks free insurance, they are being fostered near Slimbridge.
