  • Evie

Evie is a complicated puss :) She's 8 years old and absolutely adores her head, chin, ears and neck being stroked and scratched and will purr for England. But stroke her further down at your peril! She'll definitely tell you off if you go too near her rear end but you get plenty of warning so an owner who is a bit cat-savvy would be ideal. She's a lazy lump and will happily curl up on the sofa next to you all day and would be perfectly happy as an indoor cat. No children for this diva though she seems ok with other cats - she just keeps out of their way. She's a really sweet little girl so long as your hands don't wander 😂 Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. • Bud

Bouncy Bud is apparently part Bengal and he's certainly very playful and lively..and very chatty, he has an opinion on most topics 🤣 He's shy to begin with and startled by loud noises but he soon settles into an affectionate lovebug. He'll need a garden away from busy roads, no young children and not too busy a household as strange visitors make him hide a bit. He has lived happily with another cat though. Neutered plus comes with 5weeks free insurance. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? Make sure you read our Adopt page and complete our Adoption Application form. • Beanie

    ,
Beanie is a super little cat who was left behind, pregnant, when her owners were evicted from their flat. Luckily one of our volunteers works for the Council so Beanie was soon headed our way :) She's about 2 years and sweet, gentle and loving. She's fine with children but we don't know about other cats so best she goes as an only puss for lots of spoiling and cuddles. She'd also like a garden away from busy roads. She's been a great mum and her kittens have flown the nest so she's ready for her next chapter now too. Neutered and chipped plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. • Florence

Fancy some floofy tortitude? Then look no further than the beautiful Florence. Just turned 2 yrs, Flo is actually delightful - affectionate, loving, lively and playful but on her terms ...of course! If she thinks you've stroked her a nanosecond too long she will let you know with a lovebite and she doesn't like being groomed. Little and often is the name of the game theŕe with bribery in the form of Dreamies :) She was given up as she didn't like the new baby and, unsurprisingly, this little diva doesn't like other pets either. So an adult-only home or one with older, bossycat-savvy, children is needed plus a garden away from busy roads as she's keen to be out and about again. Her divaness may improve once she can expend some energy in the garden! She really is a lovely puss with 'character' 🤣 Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. • Nomad

Nomad is ready for his new home. The stitches are out, the wound is healed, the cone is off - he's just a bit drafty round the derriere until his fur grows back! He's guesstimated at 3 yrs and he's lived on the streets for a while so he's getting used to being a pet cat again. He doesn't 'do' toys at the moment but that may come but he loves a fuss and will chat to you especially when he wants his tea! He uses a litter tray perfectly and is a really easy, undemanding puss. We've spoken to several people and it seems his territory was large - at least four houses have been feeding him and he's been regularly crossing the superbusy Two Mile Hill Rd. So..we don't want his new territory to overlap with his old at all as he'll just carry on where he left off and he may not be so fortunate in only losing his tail next time. With this in mind we won't rehome him within 5 miles of the Kingsway/Two Mile Hill Rd area. He seems fine with other cats and has been a model patient - no grumpiness even though he was in a lot of pain and very sweet at the vets. No young children as his rear end will be sensitive for a while and definitely a garden away from busy roads! Neutered, chipped, had first vaccination plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.
