Tommy

,
We have another handsome tabby boy hoping to be in his new home for Christmas 💜 Tommy (also known as Rolly) is a sociable boy in need of a home where he'll have plenty of fuss and a lap to sit on. His favourite place to be is whichever room his humans are in, so he can watch you go about your day. He'll soon miaow at the door if you accidentally leave him behind! He's very playful at times and is keen to go outside so will need a safe garden away from busy roads. He loves to "hunt" a ball around the house a few times a day, or do roly-polys on the floor for attention (which is why we've ended up calling him Rolly!). Once he gets to know you he's quite the affectionate lap cat (especially on colder days) so perfect for someone who enjoys lots of time at home. He is fine alone for the odd few hours but would be unhappy being frequently left all day so will need to be with people who are around more often than not – perhaps someone who doesn't work or works from home. This boy is exceptionally careful with his claws but can be frightened by sudden movements/noise and has occasionally given a (very gentle) warning bite if startled so best with older children only. He'd also like to be the only cat please as he wants ALL his human's attention! 6 yrs old, neutered, chipped, vaccinated, had a dental plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? The reindeer kittens

,
The reindeer kittens hope you had a lovely, if chilly, weekend! 💜 We got these beautiful farm kittens just in time and they're all warm and snug now with full bellies. They vary from 8-12 weeks and we want to home them in pairs, in any combinations as they've always been together and all get on well together. They need quieter homes with no young children and Vixen (who looks like butter wouldn't melt!) is still quite spicy so her and her partner in crime will need an adult-only home and time spent with her. They'd all love a garden away from busy roads as they're used to being outside. All vet checked and had first vaccinations plus come with 5 weeks free insurance. From the top: Rudolph 12 weeks Comet female 8 weeks Prancer 10 weeks Blitzen female 8 weeks Donner black male 10 weeks Vixen 12 weeks. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? • Davy

,
Initially shy but very friendly, playful and adventurous neutered, chipped & vaccinated 2 year old male. Would not suit very young children as can play rough sometimes. Very people orientated and enjoys being smoothed and is getting used to laps and being picked up. Has been tried with another cat but it didn’t work out so now needs to be an only cat.
• Flipper

,
We have a very special boy up for adoption today - Flipper !!! 💜
Our brave little boy, with only two functioning legs, was found dumped in a bag but just look at him go now!
He's had one leg amputated and we had to wait until he'd stopped growing to see if his other duff leg needed fusing so he could use it as a prop. The good news is he doesn't need another op :)
Vet Matt is super pleased with him and nothing stops this little guy - he loves zooming about including up and down stairs - he loves stairs! He's just happy to be alive and doesn't let anything get him down.
Because his front leg is twisted he doesn't walk on his pad on that paw and needs soft surfaces to avoid getting a sore so he needs carpets rather than wood/laminate floors. He also loves a bit of outdoor time but must be supervised - an area of soft lawn to play on and high fences are a must to keep him enclosed. He's a good boy and toilets outside but will happily use a litter tray and stay indoors on rainy or cold days!
Adopters must be careful with open doors and windows too, to keep him safe, so a quieter home without too many comings and goings would be best.
He's an adorable bundle of ginger gorgeousness and his fostermum will be in floods so, if you're the lucky new owners, make sure you take a box of tissues with you!
About 1 yr old, neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.
• Buddy

,
Buddy came to us through sad circumstances. He was abandoned by his owners who moved house and didn't take him with them. He had been sleeping in a garden for a few weeks when we picked him up, and the neighbours were very kindly feeding and looking out for him. We think Buddy is about 6 years old based on the neighbour's experience of him living next door to her. He has a clean bill of health from the vets so far but it awaiting his final vaccination on 30th November and we think perhaps dry food upsets his stomach so have been keeping him on a wet food diet.
Buddy is very friendly and vocal. He will happily chat away with you and loves a good game, chasing feathers or balls around the house. He is very chilled, not demanding and sleeps a lot of the day. He often rolls around on the floor showing you his belly and making puddings in the air! Buddy loves attention and will happily sit on the sofa next to you. He likes to be stroked but will let you know when he's had enough and can quickly get a bit bitey. Once he gets to know you, this does calm down but you do need to be familiar with his behaviour to recognise the signs and preempt it - we think he is a bit misunderstood and doesn't know how to manage his emotions very well, poor boy! He is completely food obsessed and loves ALL food, especially in the form of dreamies. He doesn't like loud noises and can be nervous in new environments and bizarrely around rustling coats. Buddy is a very good boy and we have warmed to him immensely whilst fostering him. He will need a special home, somewhere calm and quiet, probably without children. He is an endearing character once you get to know him and hopefully he finds the forever home he deserves soon!
Neutered, chipped, had first vaccination plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.
• Squish

,
Squish the handsome panther 💜
This big boy is 13 years old, but is still young at heart and doesn’t look at all near his age. He is super friendly, loves meeting new people and really is the best boy!
The day he arrived with us, he was waltzing around making himself at home in no time. Despite growing up with his sister, he would prefer to be the only cat as he is big and can be quite dominating. He needs a peaceful home, with no young children but would be fine with older children who can respect his older years, and give him space when he needs it. He is definitely desperate to be back outside exploring again, so needs a garden away from busy roads. Evening time he tends to get the zoomies and loves chasing his tail! He loves playing, especially with anything that has a string attached, but be prepared for broken toys as he is a strong boy! He likes to balance precariously on my lap as I work, and pretend he is half the size he is…or just sleep on the nearest chair.
He's obsessed with Dreamies, and pretty much any sort of treat he can get his paws on!
Neutered, chipped, vaccinated, had a dental plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance
