Binx
Foster in BristolBinx is a very handsome 11 yr old who is ready for his forever home. He has been in foster for about 6 weeks and has changed from a very nervous cat to a cheeky, playful and loving puss. The transformation has been a joy to see. He enjoys his food and loves cat milk. It is going to be really hard to let him go as he is such a darling.
Binx is a little nervous meeting new people and can get a bit spooked but with time and a little patience you will be rewarded with the most affectionate and loving cat who is either on your lap or cuddled up close to you as often as he possibly can!
He has been fully health checked by our vets and is in good shape.
Ideally he would suit a more mature person or couple who have the time to give him all the love that he craves. He would make the perfect companion. A home without any other pets would be ideal and he would love to have a small safe garden to explore, we doubt he'd go very far as he likes hus cuddles too much !
Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

Leo and Layla
Foster in Bristol"Meet 4-month-old siblings Layla (white nose) and Leo (black nose) who are looking for a forever home together. Leo with his babyface, whom everyone falls in love with, is the more relaxed of the two and even though he's seldom a lap cat, loves sleeping and snoozing close to his favourite people.
Unlike most cats, they love having their tummies stroked!
Layla is definitely the attention seeker of the two. She loves lying on laps or legs or snuggling up under the duvet. They both like exploring and, when it's playtime, their favourite toys are hair ties and ping pong balls that they chase all around the house. They also love running through tunnels and chasing each other, finally collapsing in a tired, furry heap snuggled up together.
They'd like a garden away from busy roads and as they're always curious when meeting new people they should be fine with older children."

Belle and Tilly
Foster in BristolBelle and Tilly are a lovely mother daughter pair that will give you so much company and cuddles. They each have their own gorgeous personalities, are very vocal (especially when food is involved) and are used to being kept indoors.
Tilly (est. 12) is the mum. She’s a bit larger than Belle and loves being around you. She will welcome you when you come home and always sits as close to you as possible but she's not quite a lap cat. She will also often lie on the floor upside down in silly positions. She loves new people and is always up for a cuddle. She is still in a weight loss phase so will need to continue that and possibly has slight arthritis in her back legs. Hopefully losing weight will help that but that doesn’t stop her running around and chasing toys - she loves playing.
Belle (est. 11) is more independent, and doesn’t always like being touched unless she’s in her safe space: curled up on the bed. When she is you can give her all the attention in the world, and she loves to come and sit on top of you if you get in bed with her. She also absolutely loves chasing toys but will want you to play with her, whereas Tilly can play by herself a bit more. There is so much affection to be seen in her as long as you let her do it in her own way. Belle is on Thyronorm twice daily which BWCR are happy to fund.
Both have so much love to give and will be great companions.

Andy and Saint
Foster in BristolAndy and Saint were found as older kittens who hadn't had much contact with humans and they've been a bit of a project!
They've lived with us for two months and it's been quite a journey. They really didn't want to know us for the first month but in the last few weeks have changed their minds about humans and really come out of their shells and love to hang out.
Saint, the tortie, is the tamest one. She loves to sit on my lap on the sofa and enjoys a snuggle in bed, having a fuss made of her. She'll return the love with a very loud purr. Andy is much shyer, but he'll let you stoke him in return for a treat. I think with a bit more time he could be a lap cat but for the time-being he's happy to hang out at a distance.
They absolutely adore each other so come as a pair. They would be suited to a more rural location because Andy is so timid and nervous and wouldn't be safe in a built-up area and because of this they wouldn't be good around children. As I have mentioned, it has been quite a journey with them and are still work in progress so their adopted parents would need to be around a lot and continue working with them.
Every little milestone is so rewarding with shy cats - anyone up for a challenge?!
