    Izzy

    ,
6 year old Izzy is a wonderful, golden-hearted (and golden-haired) girl who just wants as much love and attention as she can possibly get. She is constantly purring, and follows you around miaowing for more which she will demand with some firm head bumps and rubbing her head in your hands. She loves to sit on your lap or chest with big purrs of appreciation whilst rubbing her cheeks on you and claiming you as her own!
Izzy is very friendly with visitors and extremely curious but she is scared of loud noises and was bullied by her brother in her previous home so would be best suited to a house with no young children and as an only pet (so she can have all of the attention).
Izzy has always been an indoor puss and suffered with stress cystitis due to children, her brother and even other cats in the garden but since she's been in foster and away from any triggers she's been absolutely fine and in seventh heaven :)
Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.
  • Claude

    ,
"Claude is a gentle and affectionate boy who loves strokes and to be groomed (which is lucky as he needs a helping hand with all his floof!) He takes a little while to settle in, and needs a quiet hiding place to retreat to, but once he feels safe he enjoys company and will start to greet you in the mornings and when you get home. He has a small meow that doesn't seem fitting for a cat of such stature, and a lovely rumbling purr which starts up whenever you speak to him, and he reaches his paw out to let you know when he needs more attention. Although he has a shy nature, he hasn't been phased by visitors, but would likely prefer a mellow household with older children only and no other pets. He has now really come out of his shell. After 4 weeks he now only hides when the hoover is out and has become very playful, chasing his mouse toy and pouncing on my feet under the duvet in the morning
He is honestly such a gorgeous cat, I totally fell in love instantly!"
This 6kg handsome hunk of solid muscle needs a larger open top carrier to adequately contain his floofy gloriousness and he'd love a garden away from busy roads.
The vets guestimate him at 3 yrs, he has had his trouble nuggets removed, his chip implanted, first jab and will be having a few matts removed at his second jab next week.
  • Smokey

    ,
Our little stray puss, found by a kind elderly couple, has never been claimed so she's now looking for a new home 💜
Smokey was very scared when she first came in to foster, but over time, she has become so much braver. She now loves being around people and will happily come and say hello to my friends :)
She's a sweet little girl who is very affectionate and loves a cuddle (but does not like to be picked up). She'll happily curl up on your lap and loves to be stroked. She is very happy to play with her cat toys and especially likes chasing the feather on a string
She is very patient and will quietly sit and wait for me, in the mornings, to wake up for her breakfast.
Smokey would like a garden away from busy roads, without other pets. We don't know what she'd be like with children but she may prefer the quiet life.
Guestimated at 8 yrs, neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.
  • Bambi

    ,
Bambi is a super fluffy 5-year-old Ragdoll cross with loads of energy and love to give. She follows her fosterers all around the house to get a fuss or a play. She is sometimes tempted onto a lap if there's a fluffy blanket, otherwise she will sit on the floor next to you, keeping you company.
She has been going a bit stir-crazy in foster so would really enjoy a good amount of safe outside space to zoom around in, away from busy roads. She is used to being the only pet in the house, we haven't seen how she would get on with other pets.
She has been very calm with new visitors and noises and we expect she would settle into a new home quickly. She can get carried away when playing and sometimes gives a little nip, or goes for an ankle. For this reason she shouldn't be homed with young children, but we think she would get on with older children who understand a cat's boundaries and help keep her entertained with her toys.
Bambi came into foster with a little dry cough, but this has responded well to a short course of steroids. Fernlea vets suspect she has some mild asthma, which could be treated with steroids again in future if needed. Otherwise she has passed her health check with flying colours!
Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.  BWCR would cover the cost of steroids at Fernlea vets, if necessary.
