Our little lounge lion is now ready for his new home.

Simba was originally another un-neutered, unchipped stray who chose a garden to hang out in. He obviously chose the right garden as the owners tried for many months to find his humans (without success), fed him daily, provided him with shelter, gradually won his trust, neutered and chipped him and contacted us when he appeared unwell. They had their own cats and he wasn’t overly friendly for a long time so he couldn’t move in unfortunately.

Since being in foster he’s turned into a right snuggle bug, loving a warm lap and a fuss. At about 13 yrs he’s had enough of the thug life it seems and is more than happy to retire to a home filled with love, warmth and treats. And he so deserves it 🙂

He’ll need a quieter home with time to settle in as he’s still not 100% confident and definitely isn’t keen on visitors! He seems to tolerate some other cats and he’d love a garden away from busy roads/catio to keep him safe.
He’s had a dental so he’s all minty fresh and he does has very mild asthma. He coughs occasionally and, if it gets worse (eg stress of moving to a new home) he just needs a short course of steroid tablets. BWCR will cover the cost of anything asthma-related at Fernlea vets.
