The new family member with Bob and ‘Old Man’ Ben
Having felt extremely nervous of adding to our family after the very sad loss of Domino, Tango (aka Sausage) stole our hearts and it was impossible to say no. It was meant to be – 29th June is a very special date for several reasons in my family, so Tango now shares that special date as his birthday – his 1st birthday with his forever family.
Tango is very much a softy…..and extremely vocal!!! He’s very purry and likes curling up beside you and sometimes settling on a lap, kneading just with his paws – no claws!! He announces his arrival from the great outdoors with a very loud, continuous meow, regardless of the time of day or night. His favourite game is chasing balls; I’ve lost count how many times I’ve had to move the sofa and chairs to rescue the many lost balls.
All in all, he’s brought happiness back into our lives and has helped the children to come to terms with the loss of Domino; actually, there are many similarities in build and character. I’m so glad we took that leap of faith as he’s definitely “one of the family”.
