Alvin and Honey are two beautiful 6-month-old Romanian rescue kittens who arrived here with their mum and are now ready to find a loving home of their own. They are a closely bonded pair and must be rehomed together, as they give each other confidence and comfort.
Honey is initially very skittish, but once you earn her trust she is incredibly affectionate. Food, patience and lots of interactive play are the way to her heart. While she’s not a lap cat yet, she has all the potential to become one as her confidence grows.
Alvin is a striking tabby in shades of greyish-brown and white. He’s a gentle giant with a timid but very sweet nature. Alvin enjoys playing but often hangs back at first, watching Honey until he feels safe enough to join in. He’s just started venturing onto a lap so there will no stopping the cuddles now!
Alvin and Honey will need a calm, quiet home with patient adopters who will allow them to settle at their own pace. If there are children in the home, they will need to be older and respectful, as these kittens can be easily overwhelmed by noise and sudden movement.
With kindness, routine and time, Alvin and Honey will flourish — and the reward will be watching two shy kittens grow into confident, loving companions together.
