    Reggie

Lovely Reggie, around 6 yrs old, is a second timer with BWCR as his first adoption didn’t work out. He was adopted with another cat but they really didn't hit it off despite his new mum trying everything, so unfortunately Reggie is back to try his luck again as a single cat :) Reggie is a lovely cat. He has a very sweet nature and likes to be around his humans. He enjoys being petted but will let you know when he’s had enough. When relaxing, he will either sit on the floor in a sunny spot, on the sofa next to you, or sit on your lap if he is feeling affectionate (and in the mood to make biscuits!). He also likes to sleep at the foot of the bed at night which is very sweet. He is quite a relaxed cat but he does enjoy to play and chase toys around. He is known to have zoomies as well! Reggie would like a home with access to a safe garden away from busy roads to explore but he doesn’t wander far from the house and likes to be inside most of the time. He definitely needs to be the only pet or else fusticuffs will ensue and would be best suited to an adult-only household, or a family with older children who understand his boundaries, as he does like to have his space if he feels overwhelmed when being stroked too much. Neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance. Reggie and his cute little smudgy face is eagerly awaiting your email application to [email protected] :)

    Bonnie

Indoor home needed for this little lovebug Bonnie is the loveliest companion - she likes to sit on laps or chests and purr her life away. She has the most beautifully soft and silky fur and loves a good brush to make her even more magnificent. She has the most gorgeous yellow eyes and diligently surveys her staff with some considerable benevolence as we are less than perfect. She is an energy saver rather than expender and loves to lounge around looking absolutely fabulous. She absolutely hates other furries, annihilation is the only remedy and she will not hold back so keep her away from all other animals. It's such a contrast she loves her staff but becomes a violent homicidal maniac with other cats and dogs! She is very food motivated which is useful as she has a benign condition called ceruminous cystomatosis - this is where the wax-producing glands in the ears become enlarged and cyst-like - and she needs steroids. Crushed in Dreamies paste they don't touch the sides She will eat virtually anything, including off your plate or floor etc but she is very good with the word "no" and the majority of the time she listens and stops. She is the only cat I have met that will do that! She loves to play with her toys, leaping on them and shredding them then bringing them to you to be told how clever she is. In essence Bonnie is a wonderful cat with a few quirks which make her even more adorable. She bonds quickly with her hoomans and really enjoys being the queen of all she surveys and, obviously, being treated as such I will very much miss Bonnie when she goes. Bonnie was originally a stray and guesstimated at around 6-8yrs old, neutered, chipped, vaccinated, had a dental, with 5 weeks free insurance, BWCR will fund all treatment needed for her ears at Fernlea vets. If our Bonnie wee lass is the one for you, mail us at [email protected] with your address and contact number, thank you :)
  • Ronnie

    ,
Ronnie is 11 years old; a very affectionate distinguished gentleman who loves cuddles and sitting on your lap. He's happy with the sofa though if you're otherwise engaged; he's very easy going and undemanding! He also loves to go out and explore so a garden away from busy roads would be most acceptable. Ronnie isn’t too fussy with food, he will eat wet and dry, usually supermarket brand, he’s never been around children and used to live with another cat so another nice, gentle cat could work. Ronnie is looking for a quiet new forever home as his owner is unable to care for him properly any longer. Neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance. Ronnie does have a mild heart murmur which the vet wasn't concerned about.
  • Meep

    ,
This is 14 week old girly whirly Meep. She is a chatty, busy little kitten. She entertains herself with her toys and whizzes round the house in-between times. She loves tellybox, we watched athletics together last week and she has tried to help out with knitting (but she is rubbish). Meep would be okay with gentle children and possibly a young, welcoming cat. She will need a quiet location with a safe garden away from busy roads and ideally a cat flap. Although initially shy she is soon on a lap and rubbing around legs! Good with other cats too. Chipped, had first vaccination plus 5 weeks free insurance.
  • Oscar

Oscar is a five-year-old charmer with a big affectionate personality. Originally from Cornwall, he lived a cosy life with his elderly owner until she sadly passed away and her grandson brought him to B&W. Oscar loves being near his humans – he’ll happily flop onto the floor beside you and proudly show off his fluffy tummy, or just hang out if you’re at home. He’s just starting to enjoy lap time too, and his playful, funny side shines through when he’s chasing his favourite toy, the laser pointer. Oscar has lots of energy, and occasionally gets a little overexcited when playing – so we think he’s best suited to a home without small children. He isn’t used to other pets as far as we know and would probably like to be the centre of attention. What he truly needs is a home with garden access, well away from busy roads, where he can satisfy his curiosity and enjoy outdoor adventures before coming home for snuggles. Oscar has had a lot of change in his life and is still a little unsettled, but beneath it all he’s a sweet, loving boy who’s ready to blossom with the right family. Give Oscar the safe, peaceful home he’s longing for, and he’ll reward you with endless affection, funny antics, and loyal companionship.
  • Ada, Beatrice and Prudence

    ,
A tantalisingly, top-notch trifecta of tasty terrificness : Ada, Beatrice & Prudence These 3 girls have been in with us since they were 3 weeks old; they were found in a trailer with no mum around so had to be hand reared. Very sadly their tiny brother, who was much smaller, didn't make it despite extensive vet treatment :( They are now nearly 13 weeks and are ready to find their new home, we want them to stay together as they are very close and do everything as a trio. They're full of beans and love nothing more than bombing around the house and causing chaos until it's time to crash and then they love a lap to curl up on. Ada (ginger girlie) is the least confident so a home with older children would be best and access to a garden away from busy roads is a must. Chipped and vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance, BWCR will cover the cost of their neutering at either the PDSA or Fernlea vets. We know it's a big ask but these gorgeous babies love each other -please send us an email to [email protected] with your address and a contact number if you have room in your heart and your home
  • Cookie

Meet Cookie – A Wild-at-Heart Companion Looking for His Perfect Match Cookie is a striking 21/2-year-old Arabian Mau with a big personality and a loyal heart. Originally rescued from the streets of Dubai, he’s now looking for a forever home where he can truly be himself — playful, affectionate, and a little bit wild. What Makes Cookie Special: Affectionate & Loyal – Cookie is a real softie with his humans. He loves lap time, purrs like a motor, and will follow you from room to room — and all around the garden — like a little dog (unless he’s napping, eating, or out adventuring). Clever & Playful – When he wants to play, he’ll drag his toys into the room you’re in to get your attention. He’s always thinking, always engaging, and always up for fun. Chatty & Social – Cookie always announces himself with a cheerful meow when he enters a room, just to say hello. He loves being part of the action. Food-Motivated & Bright – He’s got a lot to say, especially around mealtimes, and he’s incredibly sharp. You’ll never be bored with Cookie around. A Bit of Wild Still in Him As an Arabian Mau, Cookie has retained some of his natural instincts. He’s very territorial and has been getting into fights with neighbouring cats. We believe he now sees them more as intruders than rivals, which has been stressful for everyone involved. He’s not suited to indoor-only life, so we’re looking for a rural or semi-rural home with no nearby cats. Cookie also has a wild streak — every now and then, he gets a very specific look on his face, and when he does, he may bite. It’s not out of aggression, but more like a momentary instinct kicking in. The good news is, he snaps out of it quickly, and we’ve learned to spot the signs before it happens. He’s also learned not to do it to us (well, mostly!). His new owner will need patience, awareness, and a good sense of humour — ideally someone with experience of spirited or high-energy cats. Cookie’s Ideal Home: A countryside or rural setting with safe outdoor access No other cats nearby (and ideally no other pets) No young children (due to his tendency to bite when overstimulated) Someone who appreciates a cat with spirit and will give him the time and space he needs Cookie is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and full of love. We’ll continue to care for him until the right home comes along — he deserves a place where he can be his full, fabulous self. If you’re looking for a faithful, fun, and fiercely unique companion, Cookie might just be your perfect match
