    Frank

Fantastic Frank is an good looking chap looking for a comfortable home for retirement. Picked up as an un-neutered stray, he’s got the ability to make every human fall in love with his dazzling personality. Frank is the most affectionate cat you’ll ever meet. He loves strokes, in particular on his head and ears. He has developed a concept his Fosterer has called ‘Frank tax’, where he lies in the middle of a busy hallway, and shouts at anyone who walks past him, until they have paid their tax in the form of head strokes and scratches. When he first arrived in foster, he was quite nervous about loud sounds – he’s still not a fan of the TV or the doorbell, which is why Frank is suited to quieter, adult only homes. He’s also a lover of food, and is a nice healthy weight but can get a bit greedy so he will need to be on a diet. Frank does also like to follow people around and can get under the feet a little, so wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Frank arrived in a bit of a sorry state, with an ear mite infestation which has been treated. He does also look very stiff when first moving about – the vets believe this is arthritis and will need long term treatment which BWCR will fund. He takes daily Metacam at the moment. The more settled Frank is, the more he will start to play. He very much likes to ‘tap’ things with his paws, so the ball on a track toy is his favorite. He also loves to tap anything dangling… like charging cables, or spider plants! Frank did seem to enjoy the company of cats during his time in foster, so would be able to live with another, older cat, or alternatively would suit a home by himself where he gets all of the attention. Frank is becoming increasingly more affectionate and will most likely become a lap cat after a few months in his new home. He'd like a garden away from busy roads. About 10yrs, neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? Baz

Any ginger ninja lovers out there? 💜 Basil (AKA Baz) is a lovely affectionate cat who loves a fuss and lots of cuddles. Baz settled with us very quickly and has been an absolute joy to have around the house. He loves to play with toys, bump heads with you and then if you are lying on the sofa, plonk himself on your lap/chest and purr away. Baz also has this very cute affectation of curling his lip slightly. Baz has a keen interest in the back door and needs a garden away from busy roads. He's still a bit jumpy with sudden movements & loud noises and has an occasional hiss at his own shadow but other than that he just wants your attention. I think Baz would not be good with another cat or small children in the house but would make a wonderful companion in any other scenario. The vets reckons Baz is about 5 years old but his temperament is very playful so he could be younger. Neutered, chipped, had first vaccination plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. Boy

The name's Boy, Big Boy! 💜 This rather dashing and debonair tuxedo is 3 yrs old and a gentle giant. He's very affectionate but not too keen on laps and his hobbies are playing, sleeping and eating. He was very loved by his owners and a year ago they brought home a cute puppy for company for him. All was well to begin with until the puppy grew up and sadly became too much and Boy started living outdoors to avoid him. His owners hate seeing him unhappy so he's looking for a new home with no dogs - he'd prefer no other cats too and no young children, he just wants a quiet life! He'd love a garden away from busy roads too. Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue?
