    Jesse

Lovely Jessie didn’t like living with another cat so she kept leaving home for days at a time. After she was handed into the vet as a stray for the third time her owners decided it was best to rehome her as an only puss.
She’s very sweet and gentle and likes a fuss though she can tell you when she’s had enough! Best with no children or other pets as she likes a quiet life.
Her current favourite place is on the windowsill; watching the world go by whilst toasting herself on the radiator 🙂
She’d like a garden away from busy roads but shouldn’t be wandering off again!
6 years old, neutered, chipped, full vaccination history plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

    Randall & Adella

Randall and Adella are 8months old, black girl and her black and white brother.

Both can be shy when meeting new people Randall more than his sister, but once they get to know you Randall’s a proper lap cat and likes to lick you and gives little love nibbles, Adella likes a fuss as well but is less of a lap cat.

Both had flu as kittens and this has caused some permanent scarring to Randall’s eyes, though it needs no treatment and doesn’t affect his sight but the vets have suggested he’s kept in at bedtime as his sight isn’t as good as it could be in the dark.

They are looking for home in a safe location with no children but would be fine with other cats.

Neutered, chipped and vaccinated plus come with 5 weeks free insurance.

    Misty

    ,

Misty is looking for an indoor home as she’s never been outside.

Misty is a lovely tabby with beautiful green eyes and a soft fluffy coat.

She is very friendly, cuddly, quiet and gentle. At first she comes across as shy and timid but once she has settled in and feels safe and comfortable she will show you nothing but love.

Despite being 15 years old there is loads of life in her and you often find her running around with her favourite toys; crinkle balls, rubber doorstop and laser pen though she’s still to catch that elusive red dot 😊

She’s led a sheltered life and gets stressed and scared of busy and noisy environments so she needs a home with no little people or other cats – she hates other cats! She enjoys her own private space, especially when unknown visitors are around, as well as being curled up next to you and will head-butt you for cuddles.
Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

    ,

Tzitzi is a little pudding who loves her food! She’s super friendly and cuddly and fine with other cats and children.

She’s about 4 yrs old and looking for an indoor home – she was rescued, heavily pregnant, from the streets of Romania and her vet nurse rescuer wants to keep this precious girl safe.
Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

    Nina

    ,

If Batman were a cat 🙂
The lovely Nina is sweet, calm and gentle and runs to greet you for a fuss.
Unfortunately she was very stressed by the little humans in her previous home so needs a child-free home this time.
She’s 4 yrs old and keen to go outside so needs a garden away from busy roads- she’d like to be an only pet too.
She’s a sweetie, neutered, chipped, had first vaccination plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

  • Felix

Aaw mum wotcha wake me up for!

Sleepy Felix is now loving his soft bed and regular meals –  his days as a stray are long forgotten!
He’s about 4 yrs and has been fed by a kind couple but he didn’t get on with their cats unfortunately so is looking for a home as an only cat as he’s a bit of a bossyboots.
He loves his humans though and is soft and cuddly – he’d be fine with older children. Unsurprisingly he loves his food!

He’d like a garden away from busy roads and has recently had a dental.
Neutered, chipped, had first vaccination plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

  • Holly

    ,

Holly is a friendly and affectionate cat approximately 10 years old. She enjoys being stroked and is very ‘chatty’ (but she hates being picked up).
Holly dosen’t get on well with other cats so she needs to live on her own.
She would enjoy exploring the outdoors in a safe area, but equally she could probably adapt to being an indoor cat if there is a comfy sofa for her to lie on!
I think she would be ok with older children (12+) but not young kids.
    She also has extra toes!

  • Winker and Blinker

    ,

Winker and Blinker are 11 years old. Winker is
a gorgeous boy and is equally happy snoozing on your lap, prowling the kitchen for titbits, or being carted around the house by his primary carer (age 7). Although hugely patient, he will let you know when he’s had enough but is always keen to make friends again quickly!
Blinker is equally gorgeous but less confident than his brother and has taken a while to settle. It will be important that Blinker is re-homed with a family that can provide him with a quiet room with lots of  hiding spaces while he comes out of his shell. Blinker is now happy to hang out in his room and us go in and out, and on an evening, he will come out and explore the house and approach for a scratch behind the ears, but he can be unpredictable and remains unsure of children, although is gradually showing more of an interest in family life. With a quiet, patient family with no young children, Blinker would likely prove himself to be as loving and affectionate as his brother – he just needs to build his confidence in new surroundings.

Winker and Blinker need to be re-homed together as they have a very close relationship, despite being very different cats!  They would love a quieter home with no young children or other pets and would really love a safe garden for mooching. These handsome chaps are ready for their own loving home together…….they are neutered, chipped, had first vaccination and come with 5 weeks free insurance

  • Poirot

    ,

The handsome Poirot was handed into the vets as a stray numerous times because of his poor condition – he is allergic to fleas and his owners, despite being advised each time he went home, did nothing about it.

The vets eventually managed to get them to sign him over and now he’s had flea treatment surprise, surprise he’s stopped scratching himself silly, his sores are nearly healed and his fur has grown back 🙂
He’s a sweet boy, very loving after initial shyness and quite calm – some might call it lazy!
He was found, by chance, to be in very mild early renal failure which was lucky as he was put on renal food immediately and his last blood result was improved. He’s about 8 years old and must be on his renal diet for life – cats can go on for years and there’s no reason he shouldn’t too.
He will need 6/9 monthly blood tests which BWCR is happy to fund at Fernlea vets in Bristol.
So..from a life of neglect he’s now looking for a life of love. He’d like a quieter home with no young children or other pets (he hates dogs with a vengeance!) and someone with a strong lap as he’s a hefty cuddle bunny who can cut off your circulation 🤣. Oh and a garden away from busy roads as he likes a mooch.
Neutered, chipped, had first vaccination plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance (renal check ups covered by BWCR).

  • Maggie & Coco

    ,

Maggie and Coco are a delightful mixture of Devon Rex and Siamese and follow you around like a dog!
They love their people and like lots of attention and fuss and, at 15 yrs old, they’d suit someone at home a fair bit as they’re wonderful company – they’re fine with children too.
Their owners have moved from rural Devon to busy Bristol near a main road and are very concerned for their safety now as they have little road sense. They’d love another garden away from busy roads and a cosy lap when their adventuring is done for the day.
They get on well but could be homed separately.
Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus come with 5 weeks free insurance.

  • Eva

Small (2kg) spayed and chipped 10 year old female. Suffers from chronic but not serious health issues which are being managed by a visit once every 6 months to a Bristol vet and this cost would continue to be covered. Happy to sleep most of the time but very purry at food time. Does sometimes enjoy laps but mostly happy to be left alone and could live with other cats. Would need to be either an indoor cat or with accompanied outside access so that she does not wander off.

  • Chester & Willow

    ,

Very friendly and playful 1 year old brother & sister who lived outside for the first 6 months of their lives but have adjusted well to life indoors. Both have lovely natures and are people orientated but are not used to being handled so will take time to settle in a new home. Would not suit very young children as they are still quite shy but are making good progress and enjoy being smoothed.

  • Reuben

Very friendly but very shy 5 year old neutered and chipped male. He loves a good fuss but is easily startled so will need a quieter home and to be able settle at his own pace. He is very good with other cats and would benefit from living with a more confident cat.

  • Fudge

    ,

Very friendly spayed and chipped 16 year old female. Fudge is fit and healthy and likes her food and sleep but can be grumpy and strong willed. She would most likely be OK with other quiet animals.
