Mitzy is a truly special lady - elegant and sweet natured, with a tiny bit of spice. She's a vocal and engaging friend who loves to be where the action is (or at least where you are). She enjoys following me round our home, will be in whatever room I am working from, coming in for the odd snuggle. She is 9 years old but has a playful kittenish side and a wonderfully expressive way of letting you know when she’s ready to play - often with a polite little scream after her nap. She loves wet food, but her real soft spot treat is plain cooked chicken. Lasers, feather wands, and toys that let her chase and pounce are all firm favourites - she's been pretty much an indoor puss but would love a catio or garden away from busy roads. Mitzy came from a home where children didn’t treat her with the kindness she deserved, and before meeting us came from an overwhelming vet visit so she’s learning to trust again. We suspect her sass is her way of keeping herself safe, and she thrives in an environment that respects her boundaries. She’s big on consent - give her a moment to sniff you, go slow, and she’ll reward you with cheek rubs and back pats. She’s not a lap cat just yet, but she does love to sit on your chest and purr her heart out when the world is quiet, either last thing at night or first thing in the morning. Mitzy is looking for a calm, adult-only home (older, gentle teens might be fine) with no dogs or other cats, where ideally someone is around most of the day - she thrives on company and would love to share her days and be best friends with someone who works from home or is retired. Her owner took her on from a neighbour and had her for around 9 years until he suddenly had to leave the country recently. Another little puss who didn't have a clue what was happening and took a few weeks to settle. "Hi I’m Trixie, approx 12 years old. My foster mum says I’m sweet but spicy . I don’t much like to be picked up and I’m not a lap cat ..yet, I'm quite an independent girlie in that regard so I would be best suited to a home where I can come and go with no other pets or young children. Reggie and Norman are nearly 4 yrs and are bonded brothers. They're calm, well behaved cats who are shy to begin with and just need some to settle in. Once they do, they're no trouble and a joy to look after, enjoying strokes and a good old fuss. They need a quieter home with no young children or other pets and some time to build their confidence. They love being outdoors so need a garden away from busy roads - Reggie did have an argument with a car and broke his leg, it's all healed beautifully and he's back to bouncing around but he tends to stay closer to home now! Special home needed for our shybaby Millie Dear Millie is a bit of a project puss, she's about 16 and was very scared when she first arrived. She'd originally turned up as a stray many years ago and has only known one elderly owner. She is getting bolder by the day, and jumps up on the bed (in 'her' room and mine) every morning/evening now for strokes. She's even getting used to my partner - it's like she's slowly learning how to cat! She's started to play a little when she's in the mood - she will chase/attack little leaves and bits of string and has the occasional mini zoomies. Not bad for a little old lady! She really loves strokes and snuggles too and purrs up a storm but she's always slightly wary and ready to disappear under the bed again. I'm sure that will improve with time though. She's such a lovely sweet natured puss and would love a garden away from busy roads/catio to keep her safe. She did have feline friends previously but tolerated them rather than being besties!
