    Sooty

Sooty matches any decor purrfectly 💜
Gorgeous Sooty is a very loving boy who loves having kisses and will give you his wet little nose when it's time for a snuggle. He likes a quiet environment around him and would rather sit on his owner's lap for cuddles than play on the floor. Except when he hears a running tap, in which case it's shower time!
He has lived with a child but wasn't happy and would just take himself off somewhere quiet so he needs an adult-only home this tome with no other pets. He's desperate to go outside so needs a garden away from busy roads.
Sooty is around 2 and 1/2 years old, neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

    Misty and Gipsy

Indoor home needed for two sisters 💜💜
These gentle girls are 9 years old and are currently home alone as their owner has sadly died.  A neighbour is going in to feed them but can't spend much take with them nor adopt them. They're both on the timid side so need a quiet, patient home to let the settle in - their world has been turned upside down and they're feeling a bit overwhelmed. They need to stay together and have had a recent vet check which they passed with flying colours.
Neutered, chipped, had first vaccination plus come with 5 weeks free insurance.

    Diamond

    ,
    They call me flooftastic 💜
Diamond is a beautiful 5 year old tortoiseshell cat who has been wonderful to foster. She is part Norwegian Forest cat, which gives her an exotic mystique and a lovely thick coat of fur. She loves to sit curled up next to you in the evenings and will often roll over to let you stroke her belly while she makes air biscuits in delight. She also loves to play, and will happily chase around a laser pen or ball, but is also content being left to her own devices to relax on a comfortable chair.
She would like garden away from busy roads, to give her some room to explore, and is quite calm so would be happy around some gentle children. She has lived with 3 other cats previously with no problems. She is not fussy with food and has had no problems using a litter tray. Due to her long fur, she would require some regular brushing, which luckily she also enjoys. She has been given up due to her original owner being taken ill, she is looking for a forever home that can give her plenty of love.
Neutered, chipped,  had first vaccination plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.
  • Chilli and Jalapeño

    ,
Chilli and Jalapeño have been with me for 3 weeks now and they have really come out of their shells. Chilli is much braver than her brother and is very affectionate and cuddly. She will come and have a cuddle on my lap at any opportunity and loves to lay on her back having her belly stroked. Jalapeño is a typical little boy with bags of energy. He just wants to explore and tease his sister at any opportunity he gets! He will play ball with you all day long but once he is really tired out, he will also come and settle on my lap for a catnap. Both of them have really lovely natures, both happy being picked up, although Jalapeño gets bored and wriggly after a about a minute but that’s because the world is just so exciting and he wants to go and find out what’s new! They usually have last zoomies for 5 mins before bed and then take themselves off to their favourite drawer (my sock drawer!) and I don’t hear a peep from them till my alarm goes off - then they come out and sit patiently on the end of the bed for me to wake up and give them some fuss. If I have to go out, they are both waiting for me at the top of the stairs when I come through the front door with lots of purrs and meows. They would probably be fine with teenagers but wouldn’t suit a home with young children as they can still get easily spooked. I am sure they would come around to a well behaved, cat trained dog too if they were introduced slowly. They are desperate to explore so need a garden away from busy roads. 12 weeks old, chipped, vaccinated plus come with 5 weeks free insurance. • Eeny & Meanie & Mo

    ,
Three more little project pusses 💜💜💜

    Eeny has been reserved

Eeny, Meanie and Mo are identical little black panthers about 5 months old now. They were born outside and didn't come to us until they were 3 months ish and they were very scared of humans and very spicy! Eeny has been reserved They're much better now and will accept a fuss, especially if bribed with some tasty food. They need someone to continue working with them and they need to be out of their outdoor pen and onto someone's soft warm sofa :) One girl can go singly as she's the bravest and would definitely benefit from another friendly puss to show her the ropes. The other girl and boy need to stay together but again, another puss would help showing in them how to cat. It's so rewarding getting that first purr or first snuggle so if you have a bit of time to spend with some beautiful sleek, shiny moggies who match any decor then let us know! They'll need a garden away from busy roads and are neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus come with 5 weeks free insurance. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? • Charlie

Charlie chillax 💜 "Charlie has been a cool and calm boy from the moment he first arrived at his foster home. He barely batted an eyelid at his new surroundings and very quickly became a chilled cat-about-the-house. 10 years old, he has lots of bed and sofa naps but still also enjoys a play with his toys and goes especially mad for the laser pen! Charlie makes the most amusing chirps, squeaks and little growlie sounds - he'll carry on having a good chat with himself and is most entertaining with it! The miaow comes out at meal time and he certainly loves his food but he's quiet as a mouse sleeping on your bed until he lets you know it's 8am and breakfast time, so he's ideal for any light sleepers to not be disturbed. He'd like some outdoor space away from busy roads and he's only been in a one-cat, adult only household so probably best to keep him to that". Neutered, chipped, had first vaccination, had a dental plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? • Halo & July

Two stunning tabbies 💜💜 Halo and July are 9 year old sisters originally from Bahrain! Their previous owner adopted them while living there and brought them back to the UK. Halo is the smaller cat, inquisitive, friendly and curious. She loves exploring and enjoys practicing tricks like fetch and standing up to nuzzle you. A little skittish at first, once she knows you she will sit on your lap for hours and follow you around, wondering what you’re up to. July is the larger and louder (!) one. While she can initially be a little scared and may hide out under the sofa for a few days, she is so full of love and affection. She will come asking for fusses and cuddles and loves to be picked up and held. The sisters get on pretty well for the most part but do clash occasionally so it would be good for them to live in a home with plenty of space for them both. They both enjoy being outside and need a garden away from busy roads. They are both very afraid of dogs, best with older children and no other cats. Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus come with 5 weeks free insurance. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? • Rosie

Cosy little Rosie 💜 Rosie is 9 years old and is a quiet, loveable little lady. She did originally have an owner however, for reasons unknown, she preferred to live outside in the carpark whenever she could. A neighbour made her a little box on her doorstep to try to keep her safe from having near misses where she used to shelter under the cars. When she came into foster she liked to hide and sleep underneath a blanket and she does need a little coaxing or out of her cosy igloo at times but there isn't a bad bone in her body. She just needs to gain a little confidence in the right home :) She'd like a quiet adult-only home with no other pets and a garden to potter in but she doesn't go far. Neutered, chipped, had first vaccination plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? • Lucy

    ,
Today we have an older lady looking for a quiet home though she does like dogs! 💜 "Lucy (I call her Lulu) is 12 years old with a very cute face and loads of sass. Although she's an older cat who does sleep a lot, she has plenty of energy. I think Lucy had a tough time before coming to me with her long term owners going into care, and has been slow to build up trust. From day one she enjoyed a head scratch, but also values her own space. Recently she has occasionally started snuggling on my legs on the sofa, so she may eventually become much more cuddly. She will let you know when she's had enough attention, but she's all mouth and has never really lashed out. Lulu loves chasing a string and really reacts to catnip toys. She spends time looking out of the window so would be excited to explore a safe garden away from busy roads. I would recommend Lulu lives in a peaceful adult only household as a solo cat. She could suit someone that goes out to work as she is fine with her independence as long as she's got a bowl of biscuits to snack on. Lulu grew up with German Shepherds she apparently adored, so would probably be OK living with a gentle dog friend." Neutered, chipped, vaccinated, had a dental plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. • Neo

Neo is sad, Neo is from Croatia and reckons he could have shown Messi a thing or two with his dribbling skills last night 💜 He was rescued as a poorly street puss but his rescuer had no real plan once he was in this country, she just wanted to get him safe. So he's now in foster with us. "He's an inquisitive, highly intelligent boy, about a year old, who has figured out how to open several of the doors in our house! He loves attention and especially loves to play, but as an ex-street-kitty he hasn’t learned not to use his claws and can be defensive if he’s touched in the wrong place. He enjoys sitting in a lap and having his chin rubbed, but his absolute favourite spot is snoozing above the radiator and watching the world out the window! He likes to be in the same room as his people and would be happiest in a home with someone who can spend time with him but also respect his boundaries. He does not get along with other cats and would suit a home with no other pets or children and he'd love a garden away from busy roads. Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. Neo does appear to be a flu carrier and has flare ups when he's stressed - BWCR will cover the cost of any treatments needed at Fernlea vets in Kingswood or Hanham but he usually just shakes it off after few days. • Cassie

    ,
Cutie pie Cassie 💜 Cassie is a super cuddly girl who wants to spend as much time snuggling with you as possible. She likes to press her head under your chin or flop out and sleep in your arms like a fluffy baby, and she has a breathy little purr that starts up at the drop of a hat. Cassie likes her wet food and will complain to the manager if her meals are late. She has Opinions and she will follow you around the house to make sure you hear them. She would be a great companion for someone who is always at home and able to give her lots of love. Cassie would like a bit of a garden to sniff around but probably won't go far. She'd like to be the only puss as she wants all the attention! She turned up as a stray in 2010 and was a young adult then so her owner thinks she's about 13 years old. She's neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? • Joon

It's beautiful mama Joon's turn for a lovely new home 💜 Joon was the terrified young mum who gave birth in the bushes and didn't know what to do with her kittens when they were born. Once they were untangled by the vet and placed on her, warm and dry, she immediately started feeding them and became a most excellent mama. From swiping at me and throwing hissy fits, she gradually relaxed and let me tend to her kittens' wounds. As they grew older and climbed over me and snuggled in my arms, she learnt that I meant them, and her, no harm and she started to headbutt me nervously for a fuss. Once the kits left for their homes, it was time for Joon to go to another fosterhome where she would get lots more attention : "Joon is a beautiful but anxious tabby cat. She was very nervous for the first week but finally came out from behind the sofa and now loves to race around the apartment playing with her toy mouse or some string. She loves to sit next to you on the sofa (or better on the arm of the sofa) and have a little snooze. She can't wait to go out and explore the great outdoors, so needs a house away from busy roads. Once she trusts you, she'll be the most loyal companion and a friend for life." This little lady deserves all the love in the world now and needs a quiet adult-only home with no other pets. She's about 2 yrs, neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? • Georgia and Bella

Two beautiful black cats for Halloween 💜💜
Our names are Bella and Georgia (its hard to tell us apart) and we are currently seeking new servants. We are both slightly timid but once we get to know you we are loving and affectionate, especially at feeding time. And we make fantastic lap warmers!
Our diet mainly consists of 11 plus or sensitive Purina, sprinkled with a little warm water. Then of course there is the occasional meat or fish treat. Our current hoomans let us come and go as we please, through our own cat flap. Whilst we like our time outdoors we don't wander far from home. If you feel you can give us a loving home we'd love to meet you.
These lovely sisters are 13 years old and looking for a quieter, retirement home. They were originally adopted from us in 2013 and their owner is heartbroken at having to give them up but needs must sadly. They are still with their owner to save them the stress of a move into foster.
Neutered,  chipped,  vaccinated plus come with 5 weeks free insurance.
