  • Munchies

    ,
Munchies is a sprightly one year old ginger and white two tone cat with a big floof of a tail. He is full of beans, keen on his food and still very much a kitten. He has been well loved and only needs a new home because he wasn’t happy with the arrival of a new baby.
Munchies has a beautiful, loving nature and is extremely curious - he will inspect every nook and cranny! He is sensitive and can be anxious or skittish if his environment becomes stressful, but generally he purrs non stop.
Munchies will happily play for hours then snuggle up close to you or in your lap. When I’m in the house alone he will follow me around from room to room, requesting attention with head bops when he wants it.
As a ball of curious energy but inexperienced outside, Munchies needs a safe garden away from roads to explore. He is okay with other cats, but not young children or
infants. He may be okay with older, cat savvy children who know not to scare him.
Munchies will make a lovely pet, is up to date with vaccinations and is neutered, chipped and comes with 5 weeks free insurance.
  • Digger

    ,
Well just look at who's ready for a  new super duper extra special home 💜 Digger!! After all his bad past experiences - shut in a tiny flat for 6 years and tormented and traumatised by screaming children, with no escape, he's decided to give humans a second chance. He has turned into the softest, soppiest boy who loves a fuss and snuggles under the duvet. He is still worried by new things and is hand shy around his head as he's obviously been hit but his transformation has been amazing. The only time you see his teeth now are when he takes your hand gently in his mouth and holds it there because he wants you near :) He needs a quieter home with no children of any age, no other pets, a day or two to settle in and a garden away from busy roads as he's never been outdoors but would like the chance to explore a little. He's been an absolute star and even loves his belly rubbed and his paws stroked - he is such a big baby now and deserves the very best home in the world! 6 yrs old, neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.
  • Buffy

    ,
Buffy is a lovely cat, who likes to follow me around chirping - she has a lot to say for herself 😊 She is not a lap cat (that may come!) but definitely likes to be close to her humans and involved in what they're doing. She will lie next to me in bed and she likes brushing and gentle petting, but will let you know if she has had too much with a gentle nip. This has only happened once so far, as she's very easy to read - her twitching tail and narrowed eyes give you plenty of warning that she's had quite enough fuss for now, thank you very much! She loves playing in boxes and hide and seek games under the clothes rack or newspapers on the floor. She definitely doesn't act her 7 years. She'd like a home with no other pets and a garden away from busy roads. Older cat-savvy children will be fine. Neutered, chipped, had first vaccination plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. • Greysmoke

    ,
Greysmoke has been living with a feral colony for a couple of years although he's obviously been a pet as he's a friendly boy. He's fathered several litters of kittens but his Casanova days are now over. He's also minus his tail now unfortunately as he'd broken it in several places and we had no choice but to amputate. He's wary of strangers but once he knows you he loves cuddles and purrs constantly. Rolls around like a complete tart and rubs himself against your legs. It's best to let him approach you at first. He's fine with other cats, older sensible children would be ok and he definitely needs a garden away from busy roads as he's been used to living outside. He does enjoy his home comforts now though - three meals a day and he uses his litter tray like a pro. About 3 years old, neutered, chipped, had first vaccination plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? • Lila

    ,
Lila has done a great job of raising her three kittens being such a young mum herself and it's now her time to be a pampurred puss.  She is a gentle, friendly girl who loves company.  She enjoys playing with her toys and sitting by a window watching the world go by.
She'd be fine with older children as she's a confident little thing but would prefer to be an only puss and have all the spoiling for herself.
She'll need a garden away from busy roads.
Lila is about 18 months, has had her first vacc and now just waiting to be neutered and chipped.
  • Pip

    ,
Lovely Pip is such a dream to have around. From the day he arrived, he has made himself right at home. His routine involves waking us up for cuddles before breakfast and then eating, following the sunny spots around and sleeping (including sleeping on the bed with/on us). He's not the most athletic of cats, we've tried a few toys to a lackluster response. Once a day he does like a mad game of chase the shoelace (he is totally unimpressed by the laser pointer) and he will go crazy for a bit of catnip. He's incredibly relaxed and never lashes out, he's even been known to stay asleep on the sofa when the hoover is running. Not one for small talk, Pip only really miaows once or twice a day to let us know when he thinks it's mealtime or he wants some attention. We have found that he can be a bit of a guzzle guts so we can't put out too much food for him at any one time. He had some issues with his right eye which were dealt with by the vet before he came to us but it seems to be stable and not causing him any discomfort. Pip is FIV+ which means he is on permanent indoor-only lockdown so he doesn't infect other cats or pick up any illnesses.
  • Tabitha & Dino

    ,
The odd couple! Dino is about 6 years and Tabitha is about 6 months and they've struck up a firm friendship and love to be together. Tabitha will headbutt Dino for fuss and he purrs his little heart out for her reassuring her that everything is ok. She cannot get enough cuddles from her human company too! Both were living outside but have definitely grown to love home comforts. They are shy initially but it doesn't take long for them to settle and enjoy lots of fuss. They couldn't cope with young children but are ok with other cats and would love a garden away from busy roads. Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus come with 5 weeks free insurance. Tabitha has had an eye infection which may have been flu and it could flare up with the stress of moving but BWCR will cover any costs at one if our vets if it does.
