Indoor home needed for Winnie ❤️
Poor, dear 11-year-old Winnie came to us a few months ago when her owner sadly passed away. She is in foster with her sister, but they’re not at all close, so her sister already has a home lined up, and now it’s Winnie’s turn.
She’s always been an indoor cat, and quite sheltered we think, so it was a massive trauma for her when she had to leave the home she’d known for so long, and it took us a little while to build her confidence so that she wasn’t reactive and defensive, but you’d hardly know now! Her foster mum says she’s gone from being a danger due to hissing and spitting from behind the curtain, to being a danger as she’s now straight onto her foser mum’s feet for a fuss the moment she goes into the room with her, purring and chirruping!
Winnie will need a quiet, patient home with an experienced, understanding owner, in case she regresses when she’s adopted, but she’s living, purring proof that it won’t be long before she becomes a loyal companion – and there’s every chance that she’ll be fine this time, now she’s more used to change. One or two older, quiet, cat-savvy children would probably be OK, but she’d like to be the only pampered pet now, please, so she can be the centre of attention. She’s also, um, rather round, so you’ll need to go easy on the treats!
Neutered, chipped, vaccinated with 5 weeks free insurance.
