Sofia and Ellena 5 mths old
These two girls aren’t sisters but are best of friends so needing a home together, they are sweet and playful though Sofia can take a bit of time to warm up to people so a home with older children would be best, Ellena just loves everyone.
Sofia is very needy and wants to be wherever her foster mum is even if that’s at the sink cleaning her teeth especially as both the girls love water and become mesmerised by a running tap.
If you are looking for a cat shadow and a pair of lap warmers these girls are for you.
Both have had 1st vaccinations due 2nd very soon, not neutered but we will cover the cost for this. Definitely need a garden away from busy roads and a cat flap would be preferable.

Lady
Foster in BristolLady is the mama of all our "L" kittens - she did an amazing job of keeping the six of them safe and well fed and now needs a hands off home for herself. She will accept food from a distance but, at the moment, doesn't want any humans touching her, thank you very much! She'd be a great pest controller officer :)
"This little lady was brought to our attention by housing developers after she had several litters of kittens underneath the workers' cabin. They had even moved it a fair distance away and she followed them as they liked to feed her scraps from lunch. She was a dear 2.3kg when she came in with her kittens. She has gained much-needed weight but had a bit of a sensitive tummy. Faecal tests have come back clear so she is on some sensitive food and a small bit of wet.
An outdoor home would need to have a secure room where she can be adjusted into her new environment. Away from busy roads and no prey driven dogs that will scare her away."

Biggie
Foster in Bristol, Reserved Biggie is a lovely 11 year old tabby boy, who has been a joy to foster. His previous owner recently had a baby, which has caused Biggie to have stress cystitis and his previous owner has reluctantly made the decision to rehome him to find somewhere quieter where Biggie will be happier. Biggie settled in with us very easily and was keen for strokes and affection almost immediately. He now loves to sit on a lap and will purr away while having his belly stroked. He doesn't require too much entertainment and will happily lounge around for a long time, but also has enjoyed chasing a ball or just some string. Biggie has a prrscription diet of urinary food to reduce the risk of his condition returning, and a Feliway diffuser also for stress relief, which he will have to continue with his new owner. His previous owner has also donated Biggie’s supply of food, medication, Feliway and a cat carrier he is comfortable with using. He had one episode when he first came to us - just the stress of the move and has been fine ever since. Biggie would like a quiet house away from busy roads, with a garden to explore and someone who can give him lots of love and attention. He should not live with small children or other cats, which may increase the chance of his cystitis flaring up, but he is friendly with guests and new people. Requiring only a little extra care, Biggie will make an excellent companion for anyone looking for a friendly, loving cat.
We'd like Biggie to go to someone who will stay in touch with us as we will cover any vet bills relating to his cystitis at Fernlea vets in Kingswood and Hanham and also help with the cost of his food if necessary.

Belle and Tilly
Foster in BristolBelle and Tilly are a lovely mother daughter pair that will give you so much company and cuddles. They each have their own gorgeous personalities, are very vocal (especially when food is involved) and are used to being kept indoors.
Tilly (est. 12) is the mum. She’s a bit larger than Belle and loves being around you. She will welcome you when you come home and always sits as close to you as possible but she's not quite a lap cat. She will also often lie on the floor upside down in silly positions. She loves new people and is always up for a cuddle. She is still in a weight loss phase so will need to continue that and possibly has slight arthritis in her back legs. Hopefully losing weight will help that but that doesn’t stop her running around and chasing toys - she loves playing.
Belle (est. 11) is more independent, and doesn’t always like being touched unless she’s in her safe space: curled up on the bed. When she is you can give her all the attention in the world, and she loves to come and sit on top of you if you get in bed with her. She also absolutely loves chasing toys but will want you to play with her, whereas Tilly can play by herself a bit more. There is so much affection to be seen in her as long as you let her do it in her own way. Belle is on Thyronorm twice daily which BWCR are happy to fund.
Both have so much love to give and will be great companions.
