Indoor home needed for two little old ladies 💜💜
Poppy and Portia will be 15 in July and are no trouble. Sweet, gentle and affectionate they would love a quieter home with someone to fuss them and love them.
Portia has a touch of arthritis for which she receives a once monthly injection of Solensia at our vets.
Poppy is hyperthyroid and just needs Thyronorm squirting into her mouth twice a day. BWCR will fund all their treatments at one of our vets – Hanham, Kingswood, Weston or Portishead.
Their previous fosterer sadly died unexpectedly and we’d love to get them settled somewhere again in their retirement years.

Neo
Foster in BristolHe's an inquisitive, highly intelligent boy, about a year old, who has figured out how to open several of the doors in our house! He loves attention and especially loves to play, but as an ex-street-kitty he hasn’t learned not to use his claws and can be defensive if he’s touched in the wrong place. He enjoys sitting in a lap and having his chin rubbed, but his absolute favourite spot is snoozing above the radiator and watching the world out the window!
He likes to be in the same room as his people and would be happiest in a home with someone who can spend time with him but also respect his boundaries. He does not get along with other cats and would suit a home with no other pets or children and he'd love a garden away from busy roads.
Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. Neo does appear to be a flu carrier and has flare ups when he's stressed - BWCR will cover the cost of any treatments needed at Fernlea vets in Kingswood or Hanham but he usually just shakes it off after few days. New
Andy and Saint
Foster in BristolAndy and Saint were found as older kittens who hadn't had much contact with humans and they've been a bit of a project!
They've lived with us for two months and it's been quite a journey. They really didn't want to know us for the first month but in the last few weeks have changed their minds about humans and really come out of their shells and love to hang out.
Saint, the tortie, is the tamest one. She loves to sit on my lap on the sofa and enjoys a snuggle in bed, having a fuss made of her. She'll return the love with a very loud purr. Andy is much shyer, but he'll let you stoke him in return for a treat. I think with a bit more time he could be a lap cat but for the time-being he's happy to hang out at a distance.
They absolutely adore each other so come as a pair. They would be suited to a more rural location because Andy is so timid and nervous and wouldn't be safe in a built-up area and because of this they wouldn't be good around children. As I have mentioned, it has been quite a journey with them and are still work in progress so their adopted parents would need to be around a lot and continue working with them.
Every little milestone is so rewarding with shy cats - anyone up for a challenge?!

Honour and Elsa
Foster in Bristol Honour and Elsa are brother and sister
about 2 1/2 years old , they have been in foster care for about 6 months so we have got to know them quite well. . They must stay together as they love each other very much.
They have always been indoor cats but are desperate to explore the outdoors , they have no road sense so would need a garden away from busy roads .
They had previously lived with young childen but were not happy so they will need an adult only quiet household. They love being with you or near you but also like their own space. Honour is a handsome loving boy when he trusts you, he is a bit scared of people he doesn’t know , he may hide , he is a lap cat if you have a nice cosy blanket on your lap . He loves to play and loves his food .
Elsa is a quiet shy girl , (has a cute black smudge on her nose) she isn’t a lap cat but when she trusts you she will come and sit nearby . She loves to play with her foam ball especially at bed time when she becomes very vocal .Once they trust you they will love you they just need some time to settle. Else did initially suffer from stress cystitis but has been ok for months now - BWCR would cover the cost of any flare ups at Fernlea vets but hopefully she'll continue to be fine now she's no longer trapped in a flat with screaming children.

Minx
Foster in Bristol Minx by name Minx by nature – tortie diva looking for new servants! 
Sadly Minx’s owner was allergic to her and was having major asthma attacks 
She’s a sugar and spice kind of puss – happy to entertain herself and then sit by you for snuggles and a fuss but will give the dog a swipe if she thinks he’s taking liberties! She tolerates him but she loves boxes; hiding in them for ages just waiting for that chance to jump out at anyone passing - people or the dog. Seems her relationship with the poor doggo is all on her terms even down to pinching his bed at times!
She spends a lot of time indoors when it’s cold and wet but she goes outside more when it gets warmer so would like a garden away from busy roads. She’s only small but full of tortietude!
Minx is 8 yrs and would like a quieter adult-only home and no other pets.
