  • Freddie and Flynn

Two besties needing a home together 💜💜
Freddie is 8 yrs old with an affectionate demeanour, great with kids, great with dogs, very adaptable cat and a good all rounder.
His friend Flynn is 6 yrs and more timid and is his little shadow so they can't be separated.  Flynn is a sweet boy too but definitely not good with dogs!
They just had a vet check and been given the all clear :) and they'll need a garden away from busy roads.
Neutered, chipped, had first vaccination plus come with 5 weeks free insurance.
They're still with their owner as we have no room.
  • Neo

He's an inquisitive, highly intelligent boy, about a year old, who has figured out how to open several of the doors in our house! He loves attention and especially loves to play, but as an ex-street-kitty he hasn’t learned not to use his claws and can be defensive if he’s touched in the wrong place. He enjoys sitting in a lap and having his chin rubbed, but his absolute favourite spot is snoozing above the radiator and watching the world out the window!
He likes to be in the same room as his people and would be happiest in a home with someone who can spend time with him but also respect his boundaries. He does not get along with other cats and would suit a home with no other pets or children and he'd love a garden away from busy roads.
Neutered,  chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. Neo does appear to be a flu carrier and has flare ups when he's stressed - BWCR will cover the cost of any treatments needed at Fernlea vets in Kingswood or Hanham but he usually just shakes it off after few days.
  • Flossie

    Gorgeous grey girlie 💜
We were first alerted to Flossie over a year ago when she'd been hanging around a lady's garden for a few months - they couldn't find her owners and were happy to feed her. Fast forward to last month and their circumstances had changed and they asked us to take her in. She's chipped and we've tried her owner again but they're not answering calls from us or the vet, or any emails..
Flossie was very matted and needed some shaving but she's still a beautiful floof. Her fur is silky soft and she'll need regular grooming. She's a little timid and doesn't like other cats and needs a quieter home where she can settle at her own pace - she loves a fuss and likes to sit on a lap occasionally- she'd forgotten how good laps can be! She's a very gentle girlie and bright too. She'd like a garden way from busy roads but doesn't tend to wander far.
10 yrs old, neutered,  chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.
  • Biggie

Biggie is a lovely 11 year old tabby boy, who has been a joy to foster. His previous owner recently had a baby, which has caused Biggie to have stress cystitis and his previous owner has reluctantly made the decision to rehome him to find somewhere quieter where Biggie will be happier. Biggie settled in with us very easily and was keen for strokes and affection almost immediately. He now loves to sit on a lap and will purr away while having his belly stroked. He doesn't require too much entertainment and will happily lounge around for a long time, but also has enjoyed chasing a ball or just some string. Biggie has a prrscription diet of urinary food to reduce the risk of his condition returning, and a Feliway diffuser also for stress relief, which he will have to continue with his new owner. His previous owner has also donated Biggie’s supply of food, medication, Feliway and a cat carrier he is comfortable with using. He had one episode when he first came to us - just the stress of the move and has been fine ever since. Biggie would like a quiet house away from busy roads, with a garden to explore and someone who can give him lots of love and attention. He should not live with small children or other cats, which may increase the chance of his cystitis flaring up, but he is friendly with guests and new people. Requiring only a little extra care, Biggie will make an excellent companion for anyone looking for a friendly, loving cat. We'd like Biggie to go to someone who will stay in touch with us as we will cover any vet bills relating to his cystitis at Fernlea vets in Kingswood and Hanham and also help with the cost of his food if necessary. Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance (for everything except his cystitis!). Biggie is a lovely 11 year old tabby boy, who has been a joy to foster. • Django

Meet Django, king of his castle! Django is a beautiful cat, large, completely black and 9 years old! He has a strong personality, very driven by food, with a taste for tuna and treats!
He loves to play hunting with his toys, and it is even better if you are the one flicking the feather. He also will spend time watching what’s happening from the windowsill or from a high cat tree.
He loves petting on his terms and will give you a lot of head bumps, but he does not liked to be picked up.
Since he had a dental and a painful tooth removed, he has been re-discovering the benefit of long naps on the couch between his foster humans, being pet gently and purring , purring, purring!
With a bit of time and patience (and treats!) he will keep your side warm when you relax in bed or on the couch.
He will stay next to you for hours though and sleep next to you if you let him. He likes the company very much and will occasionally chair online meetings :)
He will let you know with a quick nibble and a flick of the paw when enough is enough but it's nothing bad - he just likes his personal space!
He will be best suited for an adult-only or older children, no other pets house, where his humans will love him, spoil him, and let Django be Django! He will return your love! Unfortunately Django's pre-dental bloods shows that he is in very early renal failure so needs to be on a renal diet - BWCR can help fund this and his check ups at Fernlea vets - hopefully he has a lot of years left him in as it was caught so early  :) He needs a garden away from busy roads as he longs to roam through his new kingdom. Neutered,  chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.
  • Minx

Minx by name Minx by nature – tortie diva looking for new servants! 💜
Sadly Minx’s owner was allergic to her and was having major asthma attacks 🙁
She’s a sugar and spice kind of puss – happy to entertain herself and then sit by you for snuggles and a fuss but will give the dog a swipe if she thinks he’s taking liberties! She tolerates him but she loves boxes; hiding in them for ages just waiting for that chance to jump out at anyone passing - people or the dog. Seems her relationship with the poor doggo is all on her terms even down to pinching his bed at times!
She spends a lot of time indoors when it’s cold and wet but she goes outside more when it gets warmer so would like a garden away from busy roads. She’s only small but full of tortietude!
Minx is 8 yrs and would like a quieter adult-only home and no other pets.
Neutered chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.
