Laddy
Status: Foster in Bristol
Laddy was found living with a feral colony and when he was trapped we found that he’s very definitely not feral! He is a bit grubby and a little underweight but otherwise really well. He is so so friendly that it’s really difficult to get a good picture
Laddy just wants lots of fuss made of him, he curls around your legs and doesn’t want you to leave him. He is out in a purpose built pen at the moment but would love to be inside curled up on someone’s lap!

He isn’t crazy about other cats – the ferals obviously served their purpose but he’d much rather be an only puss! He’d be fine with children and he’d love a garden away from busy roads.
About 3 years old, neutered, chipped, had first vaccination plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.
We’re really pleased that you’d like to proceed with an adoption application. Before you fill out the form below, please make sure you’ve read our Adopt page so that you are familiar with our process.
We look forward to hearing from you!

A boy called Mimi
Foster in Bristol A boy called.. Mimi

Mimi is a superaffectionate puss who loves his humans and would be stroked/ brushed/ scratched/ tickled/ cuddled all day if he could. He was in an empty house for several weeks whilst his owner was hospitalised and he hated being alone and started overgrooming.
"Mimi is a confident boy who is happiest being sat on or near you. Enjoying his creature comforts, he's happiest curled up on a heated blanket or a lap and snoring!
We have described him to friends as "aggressively affectionate" as he will pester for ear scratches and chin tickles, sometimes forgetting his manners and using his claws to keep you stroking him!
He loves his food, mostly ignoring dry food for wet, uses his box well and is keen to go outside though we doubt he'd go far. He would prefer a home where people are around most of the time and can give him lots of attention."
He's always been an only puss so would like to stay that way and older children would be fine - they just need to aware of his overenthusiastic attempts to make your hand keep petting him.
About 12 yrs old, neutered, chipped, vaccinated, had a dental plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

Dennis & Denzel & Dolly & Dotty
Foster in Bristol More kittens from Avonmouth 💜 Luckily we managed to trap their feral mum whilst she was pregnant and she gave birth to these cuties in foster. "Dennis, Denzel, Dolly and Dotty - looking for homes in pairs. These cute bundles of joy were born on the 27th February to one of the ferals that we trapped at Avonmouth.
They charge around chasing each other and at times they appear to play more like dogs chasing their own tails! They are a definite trip hazard, ruling the house and expecting you to get out of their way 😹
As soon as they wake up and see you they charge over purring like little steam engines wanting a fuss.
Their favourite toys are a ball in a tube and a feather on a stick and they will, play for hours - they're terrible timewasters!
Dainty Dolly (the one with more black on her face) is a little timid but is getting braver day by day with the help of her siblings. They would be ok with older children and need a garden away from busy roads."
They are all chipped and have had their 1st vaccination plus come with 5 weeks free insurance. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? Make sure you read our Adopt page and complete our Adoption Application form.

Meg & Max
Foster in Bristol Mum Meg and son Max 💜💜 This pretty pair are more lucky cats rescued from a life on the streets. They are shy but loving, very gentle natured and enjoy a fuss but like to approach you first. They are not overly happy being picked up so will need a patient household to help them progress and so are not suitable for very young children. Max loves his Mum and they are very close with Meg regularly still washing him though she puts him in his place from time to time too - once a mum, always a mum!
They would do well settled in one room to begin with and with puppy pads/newspaper around the litter tray - Max had an upset tummy when he first arrived (all sorted now) and he associates the litter tray with discomfort. His once daily poop tends to be just outside the tray now and obviously won't be an issue once they start going outside. They'd love a garden away from busy roads and they're good with other cats.
Meg is 3 yrs, Max is 2yrs and they're both neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus come with 5 weeks free insurance. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? Make sure you read our Adopt page and complete our Adoption Application form.

Pixie
Foster in Bristol Water baby looking for a new sink 💜 Well how do I describe Pixie - mad as a box of frogs probably covers it! . She is the one of the most beautiful cats I have ever met, about 18 months old. She loves her food but is a nibbler and tends to eat small amounts through the day. She is very friendly but also likes her own space and a sunny windowsill.
She was stressed in her previous home with young children so needs a quieter home now with no other pets. She starved herself for 2 days when she first arrived but has since really come out of her shell. This cat is a true wonder of the world, she is a teenager of monumental proportions. She likes to bin dive and get on the side in the kitchen. She understands the word no but I often have to remove her from said bin and side. She has recently started playing properly. She absolutely loves the box I have got with holes in and spends ages getting the balls mice etc out and thoroughly trashes her room whilst playing. She loves a wool ball and charges all over the house, up and down the stairs etc chasing it to give it a good battering. She also loves catnip and hanging toys. She hunts through the bannisters and is an absolute devil on the stairs. - I wouldn't recommend her for those less agile! She also hunts toes, my 18 year old son is her plaything, the pair of them seem to be the same mental age, it's absolutely marvellous 🤣 She is totally unique and an absolute joy and has a particular fascination with taps and plugs. She loves to watch water coming out of the tap and then into the plughole ( it's magic you know, where does it come from and where does it go?) She is so determined that she barges into the bathroom in the morning, gets in the sink and cries for you to turn the tap on. She often puts her paw in the flow of water. She then spends a considerable amount of time examining the tap, plughole and the water, her nose goes right down the plughole. Honestly this is a new one on me but it's absolutely magic to watch. She looks at you in delight. In this house she gets a "clever girl" - we embrace the lunacy!
She is a fabulous cat whose personality is really shining now she is truly settled. She is happy, friendly and fun.
We will miss her but she is ready to go to a special home that will embrace her idiosyncrasies.
