Kit
Status: Foster in Bristol
Kit with the beautiful floofy tail
He’s a very friendly and playful 1 yr old who loves a purring session on a lap. He was living in a car park for weeks, un-neutered and not chipped, chasing people asking for food. One day his luck changed and someone took him home and alerted us. No owner has been found so it’s time for a new home and a fresh start with someonebl who loves him back.
He is definitely not into other cats – fisticuffs will ensue! He’d like a garden away from busy roads and that warm cosy lap we mentioned 🙂
Adult home only.
Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

Neo
Foster in BristolHe's an inquisitive, highly intelligent boy, about a year old, who has figured out how to open several of the doors in our house! He loves attention and especially loves to play, but as an ex-street-kitty he hasn’t learned not to use his claws and can be defensive if he’s touched in the wrong place. He enjoys sitting in a lap and having his chin rubbed, but his absolute favourite spot is snoozing above the radiator and watching the world out the window!
He likes to be in the same room as his people and would be happiest in a home with someone who can spend time with him but also respect his boundaries. He does not get along with other cats and would suit a home with no other pets or children and he'd love a garden away from busy roads.
Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. Neo does appear to be a flu carrier and has flare ups when he's stressed - BWCR will cover the cost of any treatments needed at Fernlea vets in Kingswood or Hanham but he usually just shakes it off after few days.

Nala
Foster in Bristol, Reserved Nala (though she will also respond to Catty) is a beautiful girl; she was bought from a family in Sheffield and brought home to live in Bristol. She's a little lady who appreciates the quiet life and would benefit from a home with one or two adults, no children and no other cats or dogs. Nala is small but she has a big personality, she will come to you for lots of cuddles and strokes once she is familiar with you, but prefers to do this on her own terms. This is the reason she is being rehomed, her current owners have since had children who Nala is not a fan of and so her family feel the kindest thing to do is to find her a new quieter home without the unpredictability of young children.
Nala, is happy being left along for stretches of time but definitely enjoys the company of a calm adult. She likes finding cosy places to sleep but also spends a lot of her day outside basking in the sun and playing in the garden. She is very playful given the chance and particularly enjoys chasing wire cat toys. Neutered, chipped, had first vaccination plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. Nala is still with her owners to save her the stress of a move into foster. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? Kippa
Foster in Bristol Quiet 5* Retirement Home for gorgeous Kippa. Kippa, who is 15 years young, is a sweet older lady who deserves to enjoy her final years in quiet and comfort. She is on a urinary diet as we understand there was some history of urinary issues and the vet recommended it as a precaution - she's had no issues whilst with us. Other than this, she is fit for her age, and can sprint across the room when she wants to! Kippa really enjoys a quiet stroll in our garden, so a small secure back garden is a must for her final retirement home. She would prefer to be the only cat as she will sometimes hiss at her foster carer's cats if they are nearby. Although she lives with older children now, we think the quieter the house is, the better for her. She is super content in her bed, which will go with her. She needs very little attention, just kindness and a quiet and gentle home. She would make a great companion for someone else also enjoying their retirement!
Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? Make sure you read our Adopt page and complete our Adoption Application form.

Biggie
Foster in Bristol Biggie is a lovely 11 year old tabby boy, who has been a joy to foster. His previous owner recently had a baby, which has caused Biggie to have stress cystitis and his previous owner has reluctantly made the decision to rehome him to find somewhere quieter where Biggie will be happier. Biggie settled in with us very easily and was keen for strokes and affection almost immediately. He now loves to sit on a lap and will purr away while having his belly stroked. He doesn't require too much entertainment and will happily lounge around for a long time, but also has enjoyed chasing a ball or just some string. Biggie has a prrscription diet of urinary food to reduce the risk of his condition returning, and a Feliway diffuser also for stress relief, which he will have to continue with his new owner. His previous owner has also donated Biggie’s supply of food, medication, Feliway and a cat carrier he is comfortable with using. He had one episode when he first came to us - just the stress of the move and has been fine ever since. Biggie would like a quiet house away from busy roads, with a garden to explore and someone who can give him lots of love and attention. He should not live with small children or other cats, which may increase the chance of his cystitis flaring up, but he is friendly with guests and new people. Requiring only a little extra care, Biggie will make an excellent companion for anyone looking for a friendly, loving cat.
We'd like Biggie to go to someone who will stay in touch with us as we will cover any vet bills relating to his cystitis at Fernlea vets in Kingswood and Hanham and also help with the cost of his food if necessary.
Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance (for everything except his cystitis!).
