Juno
Status: Foster in Bristol
Indoor home needed for Juno
Poor Juno had a difficult time before coming to us and spent some time living in a house on her own, consequently she now doesn’t enjoy being left alone for long periods and can be quite anxious. She likes her hiding spaces, and will likely spend a lot of time in them when she first moves into her forever home, but she is very affectionate and can be quite demanding of attention once she has gotten used to you. She loves nothing more than getting strokes before settling on your lap to sleep.
She is an indoor cat and doesn’t require a garden. She would suit a quiet, adult-only home without any other pets, where she can be given lots of love and attention when she needs it, and can hide away when she needs to be on her own.
14 yrs old neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.
We’re really pleased that you’d like to proceed with an adoption application. Before you fill out the form below, please make sure you’ve read our Adopt page so that you are familiar with our process.

Maisie
Foster in BristolMAISIE - The most affectionate, loud purring, head rubbing, curious, dinky little kitty with the cutest tail.
Maisie came to me covered in open wounds and scabs due to a bad flea infection after being rescued from a hoarder situation. She has completely recovered and is the sweetest and happiest little cat. Maisie loves her food and loves to play - she has a lot of energy. She’s a bit of an acrobat when it comes to chasing after her toys and could play for hours! Catnip makes her happy and she loves showing off her tummy, allowing you to give it a good rub. Be warned, she will roll around showing you her tummy in order to make her give you food! She really thrives on company so it’s important that her new owner/s aren’t away from the house for long periods of time.
She can be quite a shy cat so I don’t think young children will be good for her or a noisy household. I think she does get lonely at times so may get along with another cat as she does like to follow me around and settle wherever I am. We don't know her exact age but she's looks to be about 4 yrs and she'd love a garden away from busy roads.
Over the last few weeks she had become a fully fledged lap cat and loves curling up on my lap with lots of head rubbing. She loves a good chat and trills a lot!
Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance.

Cream
Foster in Bristol, Reserved Naughty teenager! 💜 Cream is gorgeous young soul who is roughly around 10 months to a year old. He is very loving boy who will happily lie on your chest and let you treat him like a baby. Still young and mischievous, he likes to be silly and play around with anything that moves but is also very gentle with his paws and knows to keep his claws in.
His fosterer nearly became a failed fosterer due to his nature and that he seemed to be okay with chilled cat-savvy dogs but unfortunately it wasn't the case when it came to the resident cats.
Cream would be looking for a home in a quiet location away from busy roads as an only cat and with older children.
Neutered, chipped, had first vaccination plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance. Are you ready to adopt a cat from Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue? Make sure you read our Adopt page and complete our Adoption Application form.

Shadow & Luna
Foster in Bristol Best buddies 💜💜 Shadow is a very handsome 3 year old, jet black, long hair. He is a very friendly, confident cat and settled in very quickly to his foster home and was soon stretched out in the middle of the floor like he owned the place! He is adventurous and loves to explore and he would love the opportunity to explore outside. He is not a lap cat but loves being around and getting attention from anyone! He will often sit on the back of the sofa behind your head where he can be near you and easily get regular fuss.
He loves chasing anything with a bell or feathers and will bring his toy of choice to you if he wants to play. He is a chatty cat and will let you know if he wants something. He loves being brushed and having his belly stroked. He will lie down in front of you to let you know he is after belly rubs! Luna is a beautiful 8 year old black and white short hair who will soon steal your heart! She can come across as timid at first but in very little time she will be up on your lap and wanting lots of cuddles and love. She will often run over to you when she sees you sitting down on the sofa as she knows it is time for cuddles!
Although a little shy she does enjoy being around people but would prefer a quiet home where she will not feel overwhelmed or scared. Despite her more timid nature she still makes sure to let you know if she is hungry or wants attention with a forceful miaow! She as at her happiest curled up on your chest resting her head on your hand – bliss! Her previous owner advised that she can get stressed around younger children and so would be best suited to a home with older or no children. She is inquisitive and likes to explore but is a bit more cautious than Shadow. She has some issues with her gums and had a number of extractions, but that doesn't stop her enjoying dry food and crunchy treats! She does get flare ups of gingivitis occasionally but this is easily managed with medication which BWCR will fund at Fernlea vets.
They need to stay together and would love a garden away from busy roads.

Biggie
Foster in Bristol Biggie is a lovely 11 year old tabby boy, who has been a joy to foster. His previous owner recently had a baby, which has caused Biggie to have stress cystitis and his previous owner has reluctantly made the decision to rehome him to find somewhere quieter where Biggie will be happier. Biggie settled in with us very easily and was keen for strokes and affection almost immediately. He now loves to sit on a lap and will purr away while having his belly stroked. He doesn't require too much entertainment and will happily lounge around for a long time, but also has enjoyed chasing a ball or just some string. Biggie has a prrscription diet of urinary food to reduce the risk of his condition returning, and a Feliway diffuser also for stress relief, which he will have to continue with his new owner. His previous owner has also donated Biggie’s supply of food, medication, Feliway and a cat carrier he is comfortable with using. He had one episode when he first came to us - just the stress of the move and has been fine ever since. Biggie would like a quiet house away from busy roads, with a garden to explore and someone who can give him lots of love and attention. He should not live with small children or other cats, which may increase the chance of his cystitis flaring up, but he is friendly with guests and new people. Requiring only a little extra care, Biggie will make an excellent companion for anyone looking for a friendly, loving cat.
We'd like Biggie to go to someone who will stay in touch with us as we will cover any vet bills relating to his cystitis at Fernlea vets in Kingswood and Hanham and also help with the cost of his food if necessary.
Neutered, chipped, vaccinated plus comes with 5 weeks free insurance (for everything except his cystitis!).
